I wondered out of dention. I had been here for 2 years. I liked the school well enough, but I didn't like following rules. Every teacher had their eagle eyes on me. I sighed. I walked down the halls noticing all the freshman. I grinned. It was always fun to be around them. I saw the head magician watching me out of the corner of his eye. I sneared. typical. Very typical. I sighed and decidede to get some fresh air. I headed towards the stables. might as well go for a ride.
Kenra managed to get away from the girl and went to the stables. She started working with her earth skills. She knew she needed to work on something else, but she liked earth and fire best. She raised a good sized bit up and threw it in the air spinning it around then bringing it back down. She dropped it back in it's hole. She heard something behind her and spun around pulling earth up and pushing it towards the sound. She barely pulled it to a stop before the earth slammed into the guy. She really needed to get used to this school thing. She put the earth down and frowned. "Sorry." She muttered turning and walking to find somewhere else to practice.

Dez trotted along in front of me in the form of a small black cat, glancing over his shoulder every few steps.
"Don't worry, I'm coming," I assured him. He sniffed and quickened his pace, never even glancing around him until he reached a door that looked no different than the others. He stopped and lifted a black paw, holding it against the door.
"You sure?" I asked sarcastically. "You don't want any of the other ones?"
He sniffed again.
I pushed open the door and was met with double everything. You could've cut the room completely in half and everything would've been the same, down to the last speck of dust.
Walking over to the right side of the room, I laid my bag down on the bed. The other half of the room seemed unoccupied. I hoped it'd stay that way.
Dez jumped onto my shoulder and settled himself in comfortably between my shoulder and neck. I unpacked most of my belongings and decided to explore a bit, remembering the gardens I had seen earlier on my way up to my room.
Be the cartoon heart. Light a fire, light a spark. Light a fire, flame in my heart. We'll run wild, we'll be glowing in the dark.
*is it just me, or is my character the only one from Tohra so far?*
Kai-
Kai got to the Great Hall early, the place was huge, separated into seven long tables, each for a different year. Kai saw groups of older students already filing in. So far the first years table was empty except for him and Kii. He guessed everyone else in his year was off exploring.
He glanced towards the back of the room. The back wall was made entirely of glass, opening up onto a terrace just above the lake shore.

Tayla walked out of the room and down the hall. She wanted to get some fresh air before anything was going on. She walked out and sat down onto a small bench in the front of the school. Crossing her legs, she took in the whole area around her, filling her head with clear smells of grasses, flowers, and other things.
**shrugs* all I got for now..*
"After it happened I thought that I'd just try to live as normally as possible and bury it, but things like that don't stay buried. I didn't think it would, but it taints your whole life."

Going through the rooms, Acelyn could see that they were all occupied by at least one person.
Do I have to share? she thought. To be honest, she had little experiance conversing with other girls her age, let alone boys. She had played with the other children when she had been in her village, but since then, there had been little contact with anyone her age.
In the end, she picked a room which carried a wolf-like scent that reminded her of a pet dgo she had once had. Her future roomate had everything arranged neatly though something small had been running around on her bed.
So, thought Acelyn as she unslung her heavy travelling pack from her shoulders and unfasted her cloak. Guess I should head to the assembly.
*So that means Sam is Acelyn's roomire if Luna doesn't mind.*
Alexey felt bad about what he had said to Acelyn, and he thought about it while walking to his room. He hadn’t meant to offend her, but she seemed upset when she left.
As he reached the room he pushed all thoughts of her aside. The door was open and a boy with dirty blonde hair accompanied by a small black cat was inside, unpacking things on one of the two beds.
The boy looked up as he stepped through the door. Alexey grinned at him, receiving a small smile in return.
“So, I guess we’re roommates,” Alexey said, setting his own things on the other bed and reaching over to shake the boys hand. “I’m Alexey.”
The boy shook his hand, “ I’m Dex.”

I shrugged. "No big, I don't really care." I smiled at her. she was beautiful, but wouldn't want to hang around me for to long if she knew who I was. I sighed and walked past her into the barn. I saw that even the stablehand was made to keep an eye on me. I sighed again and walked over to one of the horses.
Kenra lifted up some dirt again and tossed it back in it's hole. She couldn't think. She walked to the first stall, grabbed a black horse and jumped on without a saddle, just the leadrope and halter. She steered it out of the barn and raced towards the woods. She wanted to leave, to go back home to her family, but she was stuck here, all because that stupid Royal had to figure out that she had powers and send her here. She had refused his offer of marriage even though he wanted to marry below, she figure this was just his way of getting back at her. If she hadn't refused he wouldn't have told anyone. She growled, she would get him back one day.
I needed to get away. I grabbed a horse and headed it, sweet freedom if even for a brief period of time. I sighed and spurred my horse on. I saw the girl that I had earlier, but I didn't stop her or anything. I had no idea if she was even interested in making friends. I spurred my horse faster. Freedom...
Kenra closed her eyes for a few minutes and sighed, this was nice. Her horse picked up speed and she opened her eyes. She had accedentually picked a horse that liked to race. She saw the other horse that it felt as a threat and stiffled a cry as it picked up more speed. A log came in view and it jumped without her being ready. She flew backwards pulling dirt up to wrap around her to protect her. She didn't do it in time though and pain flew through her body as she hit the ground. She heard a scream rip from her throat and her hand flew up to silence it.
