A girl moved to sit near us.

"Hello," I said, smiling.

"Hi," she replied. "I'm Kenya."

"I'm Bella, this is Jorge."

Kenra looked over the two people. They looked harmless enough. Her side felt better, she had gotten it fixed up from the fall.

Bella--

"So...who are you rooming with?" I asked, trying to make conversation.

Kenra---

"No one, I have my room to myself, at least that I know of." She said shrugging. "I did'nt stay put in my room long enough to know."

Calyn-

Calyn tore herself away from listening to rules.

"Was it a single, a double, or a triple?" she asked. The two girls who had been talking turned to look at her. "I mean, did it have one or two or three beds?"

**The assembly oughtta be over soon, eh? I vote we TN answers Calyn and then people begin moving through to go to their rooms...or whatever we're going to do after the assembly.**

Kenra---

"It was more then a single, I know that. I'm not sure which one it was though." She said looking down at the table. She felt weird surronded by so many people. She wanted to see her brothers, to go home.

Kai-

Kai wasn't listening to the announcements, it was fun actually having friends. Back home he had always been a lone wolf. He turned back to the front and studied the head master.

"...And so, it is with a hopeful heart that I bid you welcome, to another year at Sorcerer's Academy."

Bella--

I grinned and looked at Jorge.

"Now what?" I asked, looking from him to the people that surrounded us.

"Bed?" one person suggested.

"Are you honestly tired?" Another complained.

"Nope."

"I vote we go explore," I said decidedly, looking at the others.

**Our first day here and we're already gonna cause trouble *evil grin***

**What time is it now? Can someone post basic rules for the Academy in the DT? Why do we have to get into trouble on our first day? I'll stop asking questions now.**

Calyn-

"Explore where?" asked Calyn.

"This place is huge!" someone said. "There's tons of places to explore!"

"Yes, but where exactly? I vote that we find the main places first--the cafeteria, the classrooms, stuff like that," Calyn said practically. "Then we can go look for other stuff."

**Short. Like everything I post. Sorry.**

~Acelyn~

"That doesn't sound very adventurous," said Acelyn. The blond haired girl looked slightly startled. She seemed unsure if Acelyn was talking to her, due to the fact that Acelyn hadn't turned her head. "You know, this place has quite a few secrets."

"Were you talking to me?" asked the girl. Acelyn finally turned to her.

"Maybe," she replied. "Do you want to talk? If you really wanted, I could look for the cafeteria with you."

**basically it like any other school, just you need permission to go into the town, the woods are off limits without a teacher. And first years can't use magic without supervision for the first semester, but no one actually follows that rule.**

Seda-

Seda looked at the others. "Actually I wanted to head over to the lake. I heard some older students say its haunted."

**That wasn't what I meant at all**

Bella--

"Oh seriously!!" I exclaimed, grabbing Jorge's hand to force at least one person to come with me. "When I said explore, I meant find places they won't show us tomorrow!"

The others stared at me for a moment.

"Don't you guys want to find some secret passage or whatnot? I've heard the school is full of them!"

Bella-

I heard Seda speak.

"I like the way you think!" I said, grinning.


**Oh, by the way, I think it's nighttime...that seems right, since the assembly just got over with**

**Wait--did I miss something? Who's Seda?**

Calyn-

"Yeah, I would like to find the cafeteria, but exploring a haunted lake sounds fun too," said Calyn. "So why don't we go find the lake? I'm fine with anything, provided I get dinner before I go to bed."

"Yeah, let's go," agreed several others.
