I woke, wrapped in Caspan's arms. What happened again?

Arabella

"I could do it," I said softly, looking at the others. "I'm not feeling at all weak right now, and it shouldn't be too difficukt to get into his head, considering his current state of mind."

I waited for a reaction, half expecting an argument.

Ramere-

Arabella had a point. It would be easy for her to get the information from the mage now, before he woke fully. Hell, it'd be easy for me right now.

"Alright. But be careful. Anything goes wrong, get out immediately, alright?" I said, eying her sternly. She nodded and smiled before walking over to the limp figure on the ground.

I felt something poke me in the ribs. I turned my head slowly, eyelids half-lowered in irritation.

"What?"

Caspan shrugged and grinned. I sighed.

Cara----

Cara sighed, she was getting no where. She knew she just needed to stop arguing with him. She stood up pulling him up with her. She hugged him. "Your really nice you know that right." She smiled up at him. "Your all those things plus a million more." She said standing on tiptoe and kissing him.

Christian

I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer to me. I'd have to be more careful about what I said, I always was, I just slipped up.

But I wasn't going to think about that now, not when all I could focus on was her, her arms around me, mine around her.

Cara---

"We better go back. Fire'll worry." She said looking up at him. "I'm surprised he didn't come with you though." She put her hand on his cheek, she never wanted to leave him, but she also didn't want him hurt. "He really trusts you."


*Grrrr*

We started walking, "he also threatened to kill me if I hurt you."

She laughed slightly. "That's fire."

Cara---

She leaned against him sighing, "How long do you think it will take us to deal with these mages?" She asked looking up at him. "And whats going to happen to us when we do?"

"What do you mean?" He asked looking down at her.

"Like, I've never been able to stay put. Ever, what's going to happen to us. Me and you."

Christian

Ouch, two possibilities that broke my heart. Losing Cara and losing my family.

"I don't know," I said sadly, "I guess we'll just figure it out when the time comes?"

"But I need to know Christian."

Cara---

Cara stopped and took a deep breath. He looked at her a little confused. "I need to know, because I-" She thought hard about what she was going to say. "Because I don't want to get attached anymore if it is just going to result in pain in the end."


**Grrrrrr**

Christian

My heart sank to the middle of the earth, "Cara, I-I-I meant what I said when I wouldn't let you go. Weither that's helping you learn to stay put or following you around like a lost puppy. It doesn't matter to me."

Cara---

"You wouldn't be the lost puppy." She smiled a little. "I can't ask your family to let me stay. I would be a bother to them. But I can't ask you to leave them. You said you never really thought abotu it that you were happy at home. I can't take that away any more then I already have."

Christian

"You wouldn't ask, they'd insist."

"I'd be a bo-"

"Not to us. Didn't you hear my mom? She never saw me as happy as when I was around you. She'd get my aunt to put a sticker spell on you."

"A sticker spell?"

"A spell that makes you stick around."

Cara---

"There's a spell for everything isn't there?" She asked looking at him. He nodded, "I doubt it would work. I don't know." She was frustrated with herself now. She rubbed her eyes and looked at him. "Part of me wishes someone could've put a sticker spell on my parents." She sighed, "I always wonder what they look like."



*grrrr, all I could think of. Maybe they could run into her parents sooner or later and tehy are really really mean to her or she is really really mean to them. *

*How about at the mage tower? And they insist that they're her parents and are actually nice? My two bits*
