Autumn's Blaze

The third in the AB (Autumn's Beginning/Breeze/Blaze) series here at YWS. This will not be the actual thread for the story, but the place to post your profiles as well as ideas. The actual story will be taking place on the main thread, due to a voting between the members who participated in the second AB. (Main thread: topic18915.html starting on page 70)

Now, those who wish to join may do so but only for a limited amount of time. Starting now and ending at 5:00 pm eastern time, February 20, 2008, you may post your profiles and claim your spot in the story. After that, those who still wish to join must first PM me and get permission.

Now, to move on...

This takes place 30 years after the last AB (Autumn's Breeze). This is a fantasy storybook, and any race you want to be is allowed. It is also medieval, so no guns or technology. Magic is allowed. The plot line will be determined as the story progresses. (If you were a member of the previous AB (Autumn's Breeze) you can claim a kid, but you must specify whose it is.)

Rules:

-No god modding.
-No killing other people's characters without permission.
-No controlling other people's characters (Don't make them do/say something that they normally wouldn't unless you have the owner's permission.)
-No more than three characters per person.
-Must include a profile for each of your character(s)
-Keep it PG-13. No sexual scenes and keep the cursing to a minimum. Please.

If you are caught disregarding these rules, you run the chance of getting booted from the story.

**Note: If your profile is posted after the specified time (12:00 am eastern time, February 20, 2008) then it will be disregarded until you get my O.K. No exceptions will be made, sorry.

Here are my characters.

Name: Ramere (Ray is his nickname, though he hates it.)

Age: 25

Race: Human

Gender: Male

Family: Father (Natan), Mother (Valentina)

Appearance: (See picture) Dark brown hair and blue eyes. He also has fangs and a long scar running from the base of his neck to his lower chest (see history).

Personality: Ramere is cunning, secretive, witty, charming, intelligent, ambitious, and tolerant. He can seem dark at times and is a deep thinker. He takes the time to step back and observe a situation from all sides instead of diving right in. He is good at hiding his emotions when he wants to. Beware his temper when it does show.

Abilities/Talents: He is an amazing mage (Magic-user) and a decent healer though using either of these skills tires him out. He can also bend his body in ways most other people can't, though he doesn't advertise this much.

Weapons: His magic and a small dagger strapped to his wrist.

History: Ramere grew up in Verlmil with his family. His mother was a vampire, so that's why he has fangs. His father was not a vampire, so he does not have to drink blood to sustain himself. His life has been pretty uneventful so far. When he was little he picked up a sword and cut himself, resulting in the scar running down his chest. He took his test to become a mage three years ago and passed easily. Now he hungers for adventure.

Name: Caspan

Age: 23

Race: Avian

Gender: Male

Family: Father (Riley), Mother (Ariana)

Appearance: (See picture) Dirty blond hair and bright green eyes. Tanned skin.

Personality: Caspan is sly, mischievous, cunning, intelligent, and fun. He's good at making people laugh and getting out of trouble. He can act goofy and immature at times, but if the need arises, he can be serious. He loves to play tricks on his family and friends.

Abilities/Talents: He is a great thief/pickpocket but only does this if he has to (or for fun on family and friends). He is a great sneak, too.

Weapons: A dagger and a short sword.

History: He grew up in Verlmil with the rest of his family. His life thus far has been pretty uneventful. He longs for adventure.

Name: Cara

Age: 22

Race: Human

Gender: Female

Family: none

Appearance: Light brown hair, almost dirty bloned, it has natural blond highlights in it. Tan skin, not tall, but not extremly short, 5'5

Personality: Sweet, funny, she likes to be kinda like a prankster. She is tough, and sweet though. But when she needs to get serious she does. She can be mean too, if you get her temper out which doesn't happen much.

Abilities/Talents: She is good at fighting mostly because seh is very flexible.

Weapons: Daggers and two back swords. *Back swords are something I made up for one of my books, when they are in the sheaths on the persons back they mold into the skin, you can't tell they are there. But when they are pulled out, they are just as hard as any other sword.

History: She has always lived on her own. She found an amulet, that looks like just Velna's, but instead of having a dragon it had a wolf in it. The wolf never stays inside of it though. He is always at her side.

Age: 25

Race: Human/unknown(controls weather?)

Gender: Male

Family: Father (Davinx *maybe*), Mother (Velna), other siblings are fine, I don't care.)

Appearance: Black hair, green eyes,

Personality: Doesn't talk very much, very nice guy though if you get to know him. He doesn't like letting people in because he doesn't want to lose them. He is tough, he has a bad temper, but he is learning to control it. You'll see more later on.

Abilities/Talents: He can control weather, but so can his emtions, and when the weather is from his emtions he can't change it back until he calms down or whatever. Also a very skilled fighter.

Weapons: Daggers, a sword and the mage's stick (you'll see who the mage is in history)

History: He has lived with his family most of the time except for the time he took off. That is when he ran into a mage , a very bad one that tried to steal from him, his temper flared and a storm started, he got into a fist fight with the mage, stupid idea, and was thrown back by a bolt of the mage's magic. The bolt is what left the tattoo on his right upper arm, the mage was hurt though, and was about to die. He had said for having courage he would give Storm a power, and sense his name was storm he would be able to control weather. But his emtions controlled the weather too, not just him.

Personality: is very forthcoming and in your face, has a habit of ticking people off and getting herself into trouble. Why she is like that she assumes comes from her family.
History: She can't remember where she's from or what her family was like. She Doesn't really care either.
Abilities: can avoid being seen, seems like she can control your emotions through her eyes and facial expressions.
Weapons: whatever's handy aside from her broadsword.

Age: 745

History: A far too long and detailed story for her to willingly share with anyone.
Personality: vain, selfish, and at the same time would save you from almost certian death even if it meant her own if she cared about you. She is always thinking of her wants and desires rather than anybody elses because after 700 years of serving other people, you'd give up on it too wouldn't you? Tries to keep it that way and fails an awful lot, she can't help but caring.

Gender: Male.. Well I think so!

Appearance: Blue eyes, messy brown hair, handsome, black cape

Personality: Friendly, warm, kind-hearted

Abilities/Talents: Fast, fit, not much else, strong, good at healing

Weapons: Magic sword called 'Slingroffe', which sets the enemy alight.

History: Lived with elves for childhood, but left at 17 and has been an outlaw since. He wishes to move back into society.

Gender: Male

Appearance: Brown hair, green eyes, hooded cloak.

Personality: Protective and loyal, but he can also be fairly arrogant. He tries to do everything for himself, and doesn't like to rely on others for anything.

Weapons: Bastard Sword, Longbow.

History: He grew up in a small town with his family, but found the life there dull and decided to leave once he was old enough. He has spent the last twelve years in the wild, as it was a never ending adventure for him.

TN, if Cara claimed Christian wouldn't that be a bit...odd? They're related, after all...second cousins, i believe...

All profiles look good so far. The deadline is coming up really soon, people, so I'll be starting this soon. Expect it within the next few hours.

My first character is not related to anyone else--

Name: Arabella

Age: 24 (appearance wise)

Race: Fairy/Vampire (can hide her wings, which look somewhat angelic, and her fangs.)

Gender: Female

Personality: Tries to keep to self, but it often too hyper-active for that. Has been depressed for a very long time now, but no one knows why.

Abilities/Talents: Can fly, and has a small amount of magic (very small). Has the normal vampire stuff -- stronger, faster, and more ajile(sp?) than the average human. Is also very good with daggers, and hand to hand combat.

Weapons: Daggers wherever she can hide them on her person.

History: Doesn't remember her parents. She has lived alone since as long as she can remember, and occasionally has vague memories of a forgotten childhood. She gives off the air that she dosen't care about her past, when she really does. She cares about her future even more though.

Other: Relationship with Ramere
