Thorn-

Tamara held her down. With her elven blood it made her stronger, but still Thorn still gave her a hard time. Warren started to tie her up. Kaoli walked towards her, patted her head then karaty chopped her neck. Making Thorn pass out.

Once Thorn was taken cared of, everyone walked towards Bella. She was bleeding, but the wound wasn't life threating.

"HOw is she?" Tamara asked.

"The wound won't kill her, but we need to take care of her right now."

*Ninie is like a healer to but won't admit it...*

Ninette~

"Ninie, go get the wrap." Mistress Hazel commanded. *Nin-e*

"Yes'm," Ninette replied. Ninette walked to the back room and grabbed a few things of wrap and guaze pads.

"Here ma'am." She handed Hazel a few guaze pads and some wrap.

"Thank you, Ninie." Hazel smiled, a bead of sweat formig on her brow as she busily worked on Bella. Ninette stood over Hazel shoulder, watching and helping the tired, old woman.

Kaoli-

That girl was lucky her friend had grabbed her before she came at me. Sometimes even I can't stop my reflexes. I pulled my hand out of my pocket and looked at it, I was looking down at a dragon's claw. The claws had come out when that girl, Thorn, had lunged at me. The scales shimmered white and silver. The two colors mixed together, proof of the blood that condemns me.

I hear a gasp and my head jerks up, one of the boys is staring at me in shock. Well its not every day you see a dragon in human form.

Bella--

I gasped as the blade cut through my flesh. Never had I felt so much pain...

I clutched the wound tightly, feeling the room spin around me. The scent of my own blood was making me a bit dizzy...

Zip-

I knelt next to the newly wounded girl lying on the ground, clutching her stomach and moaning in agony. Her body rolled back and forth involuntarily. I held her hand comfortingly, not even noticing the man that knelt next to me until he spoke.

"Let me see if there is anything i can do." he said, then added quietly: "I am magi."

The healer looked up at him and nodded, but did not back up any. I looked to my side, my breath catching in my throat.

It was him.

That was impossible! He was dead! But there he was, large as life, kneeling not three feet from me. How was it that he did not recognize me...?

I resisted the urge to wrap my arms around him, deciding to wait until this crisis was over. As it was, he was already lost in concentration.

After a moment he looked up. "It's not completely healed, but the bleeding has stopped. It must still be dressed."

Bella--

I looked up at Nathan, who was next to me attempting to heal me.

"Thank you," I murmured, still clutching my side tightly.

Nathan-

I nodded to Bella. "Don't mention it."

Suddenly i felt a touch on my shoulder. I looked up to see the dancer from the square.

"Yes?"

She bit her lip, so many different emotions passing over her eyes that i could not tell what she was thinking.

"...Nathan?"

My eyes narrowed. "Do i know you?"

A tear trickled down her cheek at my words. She grasped my arm, drawing me to the side. Then, looking up, she murmured quietly: "Nathan...I-I'm your...sister."

I stared at her, uncomprehending. "I don't have a sister."

Another tear fell from her blue-flecked gray eyes. "Yes you do! I am your sister! My name is Zipporah! Zip!"

Something about the name roused something deep inside of me, bringing memories i thought i had lost. A laughing, gray eyed girl...

"Zip?" i blinked. She nodded slowly.

I drew her into a hug (such an unfamiliar gesture, i thought!), laying my forehead on her head.

"Zip, what happened?" i asked quietly, feeling her tears against my chest.

"Y-you were taken...we thought you were dead..."

"I don't remember," i said honestly. "I don't remember anything..."

Thorn-

This time Thorn's slept peacefully, and nightmare free. When she awoke, Thorn's mind was clear and she was able to think clearly.

"uhhh.... what happened?" She asked.

Everyone looked at her. Bella was lying on the bed. Her wounds covered and taken cared of.

"You attacked us and wounded Bella." Kailo.

Thorn struggled, just reliezing she was tired up." But I...." She stopped.

Kailo bent down. He had to explain to her what she had become.

Tysa-

I perched on the end of Bella's bed and looked around, feeling tears well up at the sight of Zip embracing a boy.

"Guess she really saw him then." I said to myself.

"What?" asked Bella groggily.

"Nothing," I said standing up and wiping my eyes. I stepped over to where another crowd stood around Thorn.

"How's she going to be?" I muttered to Warren.

"We just have to wait and find out how she's going to take the news." he mumbled back.

"What news?" said Thorn suddenly, attempting to sit up.

I frowned and shook my head as her gaze passed over me as she looked at everyone standing around.

"I don't know." I told her plainly, and also searched for an answer.

Bella--

I watched Natan embrace the dancer girl....Zip, she had said her name was. It was so sweet, a girl finding her lost brother after Lord knew how many years.

I had seen many tear-inducing things in my life, but none of them compared to this.

Still, I did not cry. I just watched in complete silence, keeping to myself and attempting to sink into the shadows. I did not expect to be noticed.

Zip-

I looked up at Nathan. "So you remember me now...right?"

He nodded and smiled. "Yes."

I buried my face in his chest. "I'm glad to have you back."

He laughed. "Well, I'm glad to be back."

I turned to look over to the wounded girl, Bella. He followed my gaze.

"So she'll be alright?"

"Yes, she'll be fine. She'll just be sore for a while."

I walked over to her, sitting at the foot of her bed. Nathan came to stand next to me.

Bella--

I watched the two move toward my bed, Zip siting lightly on the edge while Nathan stood by her side.

So much for staying unnoticed... A voice inside me muttered with a small amount of bitterness. I ignored it and smiled at Zip and Nathan.

Nathan held my attention...no one had spoken yet, but I was slightly entranced by his face...too much so to think of anything to speak. I hoped I didn't look like a fool...

Thorn-

She didn't understand." Why would I try to kill someone?"

Nobody answered. Her eyes scanned us all again. Everyone bowed their heads as if they knew what had happened. I looked her straight in the eye and said.

"I don't know." again. "But I'm not moving from right here until someone explains to me what in sea and sky's name is going on."
