"I-I-I haven't been in a forest since..." I trailed off.

"Nathan?" Zip said, rolling her brother over. "Thorn?"

I knelt down beside her.

"What's wrong with him?"

"He's wounded," Zip said, finding the gash on his side. "And Thorn..."

I looked around us. "Zip they can't stay here."

"Where can we take them?"

"I don't know." I said and ran my fingers through my hair. "At home, we tried to get up the trees but I can't see how we can get two wounded bodies up there."

It was a problem. We were safe from the Draconians for the moment, but the wolves posed their own threat.

If someone could control them, were they on our side?

Zip-

I followed Tysa's gaze around the forest, still hearing the snarling growls of the wolves.

"Whose side are they on?" i asked, voicing my thoughts. "If they're killing the draconians, then they're good...right?"

"Lets hope."

I looked up at the trees, sighing. There was almost no way we could get two bodies up there by ourselves. Not to mention two wounded bodies.

I pushed Nathan's soft brown hair away from his face. His side still bled freely. Ripping a piece of cloth from the bottom of my pants, i tied it around his body.

There was nothing else I could do for him right now. I turned to Thorn.

The girl was dying. There wasn't anything else to it. Her body was torn and bleeding, her clothes ripped and shredded. Unless she had a miracle she would die a slow and painful death. And soon.

"What do we do?" asked Zip, looking at Thorn.

I ripped a strip for my skirt with expert hands, I had had to do this a lot recently. I wrapped it tightly round her side where her wounds were worst.

I felt her forehead. She was burning up again.

I drew the heat out of her, and focused it on the glint of a draconian's scales I saw in the distance. It wasn't enough to kill the creature.

But her forehead immediately burnt up again.

"I'm told a fever means she's fighting," I said. "But she can still die from it."

"We need a Healer, a real, magical healer," said Zip. "But do we leave them here to go and find one or do we stay, or do we split?"

*sorry I was late I got sick from Wendies eating thier chicken nuggets BLEH!*

Thorn-

Even in her dreams the Thorn could feel the pain. But unlike what was happening in the real world. In her dream she was on fire- slowly melting. In her body yet another guardian stone formed, but unlike the other one it did not form in her stomach. It formed in her forehead. A small part of it showing out in the open. It was a green orb.
The only thing keeping her alive- barely.

*Lol, i just try and stick away from all fast food. That sucks, though*

Zip-

I looked again into the forest. The sounds of the wolves fighting was growing less and less. Apparently they had just about finished off the draconians.

"We should probably try and take them with us. We still don't know if the wolves are good or bad and if we DO find a healer, Thorn will need attention immediately. Nathan should be fine for now."

I glanced down at my brother. Color was slowly returning to his pale face, but he remained unconscious. I wondered what he would do in my situation.

Thorn----

Suddenly she opened her eyes. Here vision was redish and blurry. But she still felt the pain. Zip saw her move.

"No Thorn you shouldn't move." Zip protested.

Thorn ignored her. Zip spotted the green orb poking out of her forehead- another guardian stone. Thorn walked towards Nathan. She spotted his wounds. Thorn placed her hands on his wounds and a strange green glow came from her hands and started to heal his wounds.

Naomi~

Naomi stopped fighting for a while. She jumped out of the tree she'd been standing in and took off towards the others, Blind Seer and another wolf next to her. She jumped through the bush and saw everyone, they jumped at entrance and looked at her like she was some hermit. Thorn was badly injured but, was healing Nathan.

"Lay down." She commanded Thorn. Nobody moved. Blind Seer and the other wolf, Dagger, growled threatingly. Naomi silenced them as Thorn stopped healing the boy. Naomi pushed Thorn down gently, but with enough force to knock her unconsious again.

Naomi put her hands over Thorn's worst injuries and healed them, slowly but surely.

Nathan-

Flashes of light penetrated the layers of blackness i had folded over me, beckoning me with chill hands, willing me towards the light...

I blinked and opened my eyes slowly, seeing Zip's face hovering over mine. She breathed a sigh of relief and smiled.

"How do you feel?"

Surprisingly, I felt fine. My arm was healed, as was my side. Even my earlier exhaustion had vanished.

"I feel fine. What happened?"

"Thorn healed you."

"Thorn," i sat up, looking over at the girl who lay on the ground a few paces away. Another girl was tending to her wounds.

"Poor girl," i murmured softly. "She's been through so much."

I turned again at the sound of running feet. Bella emerged from the trees, breathing hard but otherwise unharmed save for a small scratch on her arm. I smiled, seeing her safe.

Bella--

I came out of the trees, and immediatly held my breath again.

Blood trickled from the scratches on my arm, but I was fine. The others, I was not so sure aobut. They seemed well enough.

I walked over to kneel next to Nathan.

*Grr! I keep wanting to write Thorne, cause dats my last name!! Ugh!**

Ninette~

After an hour of healing, the wounds where closed up, but still held pain. "Take her to Mistress Hazel. If any draconians attack, which I highly dout they will, Dagger and Blind Seer, will fight them off. Don't stop. No matter what." Ninette warned. The others just looked at her.

"Stay with them." Ninette growled to the to wolves. They both nodded.

"Name's Ninette," she told the group, "tell Hazel that I'll be back soon. Very soon. And remember don't stop no matter what." And with that, Ninette took of back through the forest and towards the fight.

A few wolves layed dead on the ground, next to the enemy, which was gone now. Ninette ordered the others to bury the wolves and head on back to their home. She thanked the alphas and watched from afar as the wolves followed her orders.

*sorry i haven't posted my computer was down. i'll think of a reason i'm not with the group 'cause it looks like you guys forgot me*

Kaoli-

Too much, it was all too much. Kaoli let one worry go as she felt the other's life forces move away. Some of them were weakened but they should be alright. Snarling Kaoli turned to face her more immediate problem.

She had gotten separated from the others when the draconians realized what she was. Kaoli stood in the market square that they had all walked through just a short time ago surrounded by twenty draconians. Out of the horde of draconians a tall man walked he wore ornate black robes with gold embroidering and his face was hidden in shadow.

"Well now, this is a surprise." His voice was barely a whisper, dark and insidious, a voice she recognized from long ago. "The Exile, helping someone other then herself? If they can convince you to help, then they must be extraordinary. Come now... where are your manners Kaoli?"

A wind blew through the town fanning the flames and blowing back the strangers hood. His skin was so pale it was almost white, his hair was white. Eyes as red as blood stared out from a face as merciless as it was heartbreakingly beautiful. Kaoli felt the familiar pang in her chest as she looked at him. "Hello... brother, I see you've been having fun tormenting the humans."

He snarled and an icy wind blew threw the town. "I do not need a selk to judge me." Kaoli stifled her instinctive flinch at the old draconic term for mongrel. "Kaoli do you really think you're protecting your friends by facing me? They won't make it a day from the village without getting killed and we will have the guardian stones."

Her eyes snapped open, flashing with the unbreakable will that had seen her through all the dragons had thrown at her. "Well then." Her voice was cold with an underlying note of resignation. "I suppose I'll have to finish this fast then won't I."

Sezare's face finally showed shock as he realized what she was doing and lunged towards her, but too late. Her claws formed and her wings snapped out reflecting the fire's light like the sun.

"I hope the others don't come back to the town until this is over." Was her last thought before the Wild Rage took her. And the world went red.

**Sorry Sylverdawn. It's not really a group. Just Thorn on the ground, then Nathan was injured, then Zip and Tysa came and now Bella and Ninette. You can run into us or whatever...**

"Right," I said, and ripped another strip off of my skirt hem and wrapped it around Thorn's head. "A stretcher would be ideal to keep her flat, but since we don't have one..."

I took off my cloak and grabbed two branches off the ground, tying the corners of my cloak around it.

"The material's strong, it'll hold," I said. "We put Thorn on this and two of us carry her."

"What about you? Won't you be cold?" asked Zip.

I paused. "I'm never cold." I said.

"Right, who's carrying this with me?" I asked, taking the end by Thorn's head."

Thorn-

He was near. TO him she was just a little oven making all the guardian stones he needed. Thorn had already given him one- a red guardian stone. Now he needed the green one in her forehead. While he would retreave it. He'd might as well kill everyone who were assossiated with her.

THe man started to laugh. This was going to be fun for him.
