"Why don't you get a tad more rest, you still look tired." Colt said turning her towards the guest room. I don't want to take the possiblity of it not working.

Caiden shook her head, "the sooner the better."

"Why sooner?"

"The sooner we finish this the sooner its safer for us again."

"Talking won't do any good," he said.

"We've got to try."

He crushed her against him, "I thought I lost you once, I won't do that again."

Caiden's resistance melted.

Colt-

"Now, rest will do us both some good. And will put off having to run into them and me having to worry about your safety. Please tell me you will rest." He said kissing the top of her head.

Caiden sighed, she knew this would be a losing battle, so she gave up fighting and agreed. "As long as you stay with me," she said.

"Alright," he agreed and pulled her into the bedroom. They laid down on the bed and the last thing Caiden remembered before she lost concousness was Colt gathering her into his arms.

She liked sleeping like this.

Colt-

Colt wasn't sure if he passed out before Caiden did or if she beat him too it. But the events of the day had drained him and he needed his sleep.

(Next morning)

Colt slowly streched out and nearly jumped when he felt someone next to him. His eyes flew open and he saw Caiden. He smiled, he would need to get used to this.

Caiden slwoly woke up as the reality that she was being watched, and that thought jolted her awake. It was only then that she realized that it was Colt watching her. She blinked up at him, "how long have you been watching me?"

He shrugged, "only an hour or two. I like watching you sleep."

"Well when I first woke up your scared me to death, if that is possible, so there we're even." He smiled sticking out his tounge playfully.

"No," Caiden teased back, "I'm one up on you."

He tilted his head to the side, "how?"

"I threw the pillow at you."

He fake growled and tackled her, knocking her back on the bed. "There, now we're even."

Colt-

Colt smiled down at Caiden and gently kissed her lips.

'BANG BANG BANG' Someone was pounding on the door.

"COLT! Get out here fool, NOW!" Brent's voice rang out. Colt rolled off the bed and walked over to the door yanking it open.

"What?" He demanded,

"We have a little problem." Brent hissed,

"Make that a big problem." Brenty yelled. He was holding the door closed with the others whiel something was pushing back.

"What's going on?" Colt demanded sniffing the air, WEREWOLVES! "How did they get up here?"

"I don't know, but they did. Someone must've taken your wards down or something."

Caiden followed Colt to the door, her heart racing and beating uncontrolably, and her stomach growled. The only thing she could think to do was go get the weapons from the kitchen.

"Colt!" she shouted and threw him the knife.

"Thanks!" he shouted back and she gave the knives to everyone else.

Standing near the front they let go of the door and the werewolves burst forth. In sync with each other they moved, lunging at them. Caiden put her hands up to brace for the impact but they never hit, the werewolves were suspended in mid-air. With a slight push with her hands they flew back against the wall and through it.

"Holy crap," she murmered, "never been able to do that before."

"WHOA!" Colt nearly chocked, he had almost been clobbered when the werewolves just...froze. He watched as they flew back and he looked at Caiden surprised. "Not bad."

"That was sweet!" Slade said, "Caiden, uh...sorry for...everything?"

"You just don't want me to hurt you do ya?"

"No."

Caiden chuckled and once again prepaired herself for their next attack.

"How bout y'all have this talk when all these weres are gone." Colt said looking at the werewolves that were now running at them after recovering from the hit. He tackled a were that was headed towards Caiden and pounded his fists into the weres stomach as another jumped on his back.
"And you wonder why we don't like you!" -Trumpkin
