Colt picked Caiden up and glared at the doctor. He ran outside and to his truck. He took a deep breath and held her in his arms for a few minutes. He bent down and drank the rest of her blood and then replaced it with his own. He held her in his arms hoping she would move. Any sign of life would make him happy.
Caiden realized she wasn't dead, but she wasn't breathing. But being dead wouldn't hurt this much would it now? She couldn't find the stregnth to do anything other than lie there, in complete agony, unable to move, unable to do anything.
Colt pulled a knife out of the glove compartment and slit his wrist. He held it up to her lips and let her drink it in. He saw some of the werewolves so he started the truck and drove off. HE pulled next to a disterted parking lot and continued to feed her hopeing it would work and hte pain would stop .
Warmth filled her, and with it some energy. She was able to drink the liquid that was flowing into her mouth, what was it? It tasted matalic, and she realized what it was, blood. Colt was changing her. When he stopped she was able to draw enough breath to moan and enough stregnth to get a little closer to him. Still in pain.
"Shhh, it'll get better." COlt said in a soothing tone trying to help Caiden. He held her close and stroked her hair with the arm he wasn't feeding her from. He kissed the top of her head watching his wrist slowly start to heal again.
Caiden sighed and blissfully fell asleep. She didn't know how much later it was when she woke. She wasn't in the hospital, or in the car, she was on the couch in Colt's apartment. At first she wondered where he was, but relaxed when she saw that he was in the chair not too far from her.
Colt looked up at her, "Well you died back at the hospital, so I had to change you earlier then we planned." He said running his hand through his hair. "I brought you back here after I was sure it would be ok to move you around."
"WHAT!" Colt jumped up in front of her and grabbed her shoulders."You are a vampire now, you can't go talk to werewolves, especially when you are this weak."
