*Ha i'm not gone yet*

Later in the day/night

Georgia sat against a tree, fully awake, tears threatening to come out of her eyes. James was a lot like her, a loner at first but always came around to liking company. But she knew, by the time he came around to liking her company it would be too late.

"Georgia," Lethero said sitting down across from her in his human form, "how have you been holding up?"

"Fine," she lied, he could tell, the strained tone in her voice gave her away.

"You're not fine."

"Fine, I'm not fine, but I'll get fine...And so will James."

"Will you alone or with us?"

"You should know that Lethero, I've grown too fond of you all, I should leave but being the selfish being I am I won't. I'm with you all the way."

*Also later...seeing nothing is really happening in the earlier time*

Raiana gave a great yawn and opened her eyes. It was night and a full moon was out.

Lethero walked over. Raiana looked from where he had come and saw Georgia sitting against a tree. Raiana started. She was glad Georgia was back but wasnt expecting to see her.

Lethero approached. "Have a good nap?" he asked teasingly.

"Wouldn't you like to know." Raiana mumbled, giving another yawn. Lethero smiled.

"What are you going to do now?" Lethero asked, a hint of worry in his voice.

"Dont worry. Im not gonna leave you. I'll gladly be here to help. Plus, looks like you got a few extra dragons on your hands. I'll stick around and explain all this to them." Raiana said, nodding towards the small group of huddled dragons standing on the far side of camp.

Lethero nodded gratefully. Then his face took on a more serious look.
"Looks like we got just about all the creatures it takes to stop It." he said, gesturing around.

"Lethero, i dont think we should just yet. Lets get far away from here and let these poor creatures rest a bit. Then we can kill It once and for all."

"I thought you wanted to kill it now?" Lethero said.

"I do, more than anything. But we cant ask these creatures to fight a force as strong as It while they're like this and went through what they went through just recently." Raiana said.

Lethero nodded his understanding and went over to where his pack was sleeping. he lay down and fell asleep. Raiana watched him for a moment, feeling a certain ammount of pity for him. She wondered how long it'd been since he's slept.

Raiana lay her head back down and closed her eyes. She gave one last gaping yawn and fell asleep.

Georgia missed James more than words could express, but she couldn't blame him for leaving her, she had told him to. But that still couldn't take away the sickening feeling that was forming in her gut. She'd always be a little distant from the group, but she would always talk to anyone. She loved the pack and would do anything for them.

She looked over at Lethero, he felt the same way as she did, but he had to. It wouldn't matter if he didn't give a damn he would always have to think of the pack first.

Lethero woke in the early morning hours when everyone else He stood up and walked around. "You can't sleep either, Lethero," said a voice. He spun around and saw Nicarga. "I can't either, it's all this. In the pass few days I went from a loner to a member of a pack to a hero. It all seems o happen so fast."

"Don't worry, I feel the same," Lethero said symthapethicall. "All I set out to do is find a home for my wolves and it turns out while doing so, I've saved every species of magical creature. I seem to be leading this entire thing. I was only expecting to lead my wolves, not them and almost everything else. I don't know what to think anymore."

"Lethero, you're doing a great job leading us. I'm glad to have you as my pack leader, really."

Lethero frowned and thought that over.

"I think you are a great leader too." Petra piped in,

"That is a complament, she usually doesn't say stuff like that." Nicarga said smiling at Petra.

Petra giggled.

"You know me far too well Nicarga." she said. "but," she turned back to Lethero,
"if you are starting to feel the pressure... feel free to ask for some help. That is allowed you know."

Petra meant well, but she wasn't sure that it had come across that way...

Syden sat a little back from the group, gazing into the woods. He had only met two other packs in his life; the first one he had stumbled on when he was young, and they had chased him off. The second one he had been careful to avoid, and the third one seemed to keep pressing him to stay. That had only happened once before, when he was almost too young to remember, when a certain human had coaxed him to eat out of his hand and to stay just one more night. And in that situation, he had learned to love the man and consider his home his, too.

he looked back at the pack, conversing together, clumping in little groups around the clearing. They hadn't tried to chase him off. They pressed him to stay and become a part of them. Just like the man did.

He smiled and laid down, finally making a decision once and for all. He would stay and help them fight.

Raiana snatched one more minute of peace and opened her eyes. She blinked furiously, trying to rid the sleep scum from her eyes. She glanced around the camp and saw a few others awake.

Raiana yawned and blew a bit of smoke out of her nose. She got up and walked over to where the small group of dragons were. There were five, but only one was still awake.

"Hello." Raiana said, sitting herself down next to the dragon.

"Er...hi." the dragon said. Raiana realized it was a female.

"How are you holding up?" Raiana asked.

"Im fine, but the others..." the female dragon cast a worried glance to the sleeping dragons.

"Whats wrong with them?"

"They were beaten and had their wings slit. Luckily, for some reason, i was not." the dragon said.

"Whats your name?"

"Alje." she replied. "Why?"

"Just curious. I'm Raiana. I believe i can help your friends."

"Really!? How?"

"Pshaw. Magic, of course."

"You can do magic? I have only heard of few dragons who could perform magic, and i never had the honor of meeting one." Alje said, a hint of excitement in her green eyes.

"Well, once i heal them, i'll teach you. And them, if they want to know. Its really quite easy."

"You would do that? Thank you!"

"No problem." Raiana said. She smiled at the young dragon, then turned her attention to the others.

"Lesson number one." Raiana said. "Never rush into anything, especially if you are just learning."

She turned into a human so she could work easier. She lay her hand on the wing of a great blue dragon. She muttered a word and the wound closed almost instantly. Raiana heard Alje gasp. She ignored her and proceeded the same procedure with all the other dragons, healing any other wounds if nessary.

"Wow, you're really talented." Alje said. Her dark green scales shown in the light of the moon.

"Thanks!" Raiana said, grinning.

Nicarga walked over to a small girl, she was brusied pretty bad. She was about nine, Nicarga sat down next to her in her humen form and the girl started to shed away.

"Don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt you I promise." She said smiling. The girl stopped and tears started to flow down her face. Nicarga pulled her into a hug and let her cry.

"They killed my family," She cried,

"Why?" Nicarga asked

"Cause they were humen." She sniffed. "They adopted me, so those men killed them." Anger burned inside of Nicarga and she held the girl closer. She didn't even know what type of creature this girl was.

"Whats your name?" She asked her.

"Yera," The girl sniffed, "I...I'm a shapeshifter." Nicarga thought about that, shapeshifters weren't creatures, they were humens, well kinda. Did they need any thing that wasn't humen? The question jumped around in her mind as Yera fell asleep in her arms. She walked over to where Syden was laying and layed down about five feet away so he wouldn't get lonely. She changed into her wolf form and curled up next to Yera keeping her warm. She wanted to kill these men even more, there were more, there had to be.

Nicarga nodded.

"Is it okay if I take her over?" Syden asked.

"Wait til she wakes up so she isn't scared to find I'm not there." She said gently smiling at Syden who laid down.

"Ok," He sighed, "Why would anyone want to hurt such a small child?"

"Cause they don't have a heart, they..." Nicarga stopped slowing her anger. "they have no concious."

Syden smiled at her and laid down. He gazed thoughtfully at the sleeping child, wondering if she would be able to remember what had happened any better than he did.

Nicarga closed her eyes for a few minutes and pictures of her parents battered bodies flew in front of her eyes. She quickly opened her eyes pushing them away and locking them back up in the back of her mind. She tried to think of something else but couldn't. She wondered if this girl had been made to see her famlies dead bodies, if so Nicarga was going to kill every man that had made her see those images that would haunt Yera for the rest of her life.

Lethero sat by his pack watching over them and the other magical creatures. Dresko walked over. "Are they staying with us, sir?" Dresko asked.

"Yes, Dresko, I think they are," Lethero replied. "Everyone of them. I want each of the wolves that we rescued to be asked if they wish to join our pack."

"Yes sir, but may I ask why?'

"Because they need a home and a family , and I can provide one. They can be a part of our pack or form one of their own. I just wish them to be welcomed."

"Certainly sir," Dresko said and walked off.

Georgia couldn't sleep, she hadn't been able to for quite some time. But tonight was especially gruesome, frusturated she decided to walk.

Her skirt snagged a couple times but she didn't let it stop her. She was headed up the mountin to see what the view was like. Maybe up there she would be tired enough to sleep.

She nearly jumpped out of her skin when she saw Lethero.

"Good god lethero, you nearly scared me to death."

"Running away are you?"

"No," she said sitting down, "I couldn't sleep."
