Mythical Creatures of Sada

(sorry i havn't posted in awhile. My internet wasn't working!)

Kailani stayed behind near the edge of the camp, preparing to use magic if Lethero and Raiana got into any trouble. Suddenly a piercing laugh filled her mind. A laugh mixed with pure evil.

She drew on her magic and called out to Raiana.

'It's here! It was in my mind!'

She then fell to the floor writhing in pain as It ripped through her skull pulling at her mind.

'Kailani! Hold on, i'm coming to help!'

Kailani could just curl into a ball on the ground, hoping that Raiana could save Nicarga and Syden before It destroyed everything.

"Ok, now this is a hit and run," Lethero said. "When I say go, go."

Lethero waited for a human to pass then ran out and slit his throat. "Go," he whispered.

The others ran off going to do their job. "C'mon Nicarga, we need to do this fast." Running to the nearest cage they found a Centaur in it. "Don't make a sound, we're here to get you out."

Nicarga quickly worked on the locks as they freed (sp) most of the creatures.

"What do you think you are doing?" Someone hissed from behind them. Nicarga spun around and saw the vampire.

"Keep letting them out Lethero, I'll deal with him." She growled, Lethero started to protest but she snapped at him. He kept on working keeping an eye on her.

"Foolish mutt." The vampire hissed pulling his sword out. Nicarga just smiled.

"It'll take a lot more to kill me then it did my father, i have a reason to have you dead, and i wont stop at anything until you are." She growled jumping at him.

Lethero quickly broke the last lock from the cage that contained the Alans. "Come get away from here. If you want there is camp where my pack is. They'll protect you." They flown off without second hesitation and Lethero turned his attention to Nicarga who was still fighting the vampire.

"Hello wolf," said a voice behind him, "I see you're come here to die like your brother did."

"Kailani!" Raiana cried. She ran up to her friend and saw her writhering on the ground. "Kailani! Where is it?"

"In the town somewhere!" Kailani managed to gasp.

"I can't just leave you here." Raiana said. She picked Kailani up and took off towards the pack. She figured it was far enough away.

"Kailani, you have to fight it!" Raiana kept telling her.She was surprised It had not gotten to her.

Raiana left Kailani with the pack and cast a shield aroung the whole thing. Just as she was leaving, a couple of Allens flew into the clearing.

"Hey, you can do healing, right?" she called to them. One of them nodded.
"Help her." Raiana said, pointing to Kailani. Then she was gone.

Raiana ran back to the town and spotted Lethero freeing the last of the creatures. Nicarga wasnt far away, facing off with the vampire. All of the sudden, the priest appeared behind Lethero and he spun around.

"Damn. Nothing is EVER easy!" Raiana cursed and ran to help them.

"Lethero kill him!" Raiana cried. "Hurry!"

Raiana ren to help Nicarga since she knew Lethero wouldn't let er help him unless he asked.

"Here." Raiana said, casting a shield over Nicarga and herself. She figured Lethero didnt need one and she couldn't expend any more energy if she was going to go up against It.

Raiana heard a growl behind her and turned to see Lethero jump on the priest. Her attention was drawn back to the vampire as he began to circle around them.

"We'll take him on three."

Telayna say them fly over. She smiled to herself and ran and found her stuff. She changed and let her wings out and got her sword. She killed a few humans and saw Lethero and the priest.

"Lethero, I'm going aften the Alan's ok?"

He nodded not taking his eyes off the preist and she took off.

"This is my fight Kailani (sp, srry0). I have to do this on my own." Nicarga said glaring at the vampire.

"But.." Kailani started

"He killed my pack, and my family, it is my fight. Help Lethero or the others, I'll be done soon enough." Nicarga said jumping away from the vampire's sword she grabbed hold of his back and left a nasty scratch down it. She cursed, she hadn't gotten close enough to slit his throat, 'go for his heart' she thought. She changed form and pulled a knife out. She was gonna kill him but hopefully slow and painfully.

"Get off me," Georgia said to the werecat that was pinning her down.

"You dropped a gun."

"On accident," the werecat made no notion of about to move. Georgia turned into a morat, teleported to the gun, and teleported back to James house in the first town.

"Shit!" she said when she first arrived, the preists were still there, she fired the gun at one, uncaring about the concequences. She fired again, the power of the rifle sending her against the wall. When the three priests were dead she put their bodies in the tunnel and locked the door. "Told them I could handle myself."

*TNcowgirl, u got me and Saphira/Kailani mixed up. no biggie tho.*

Raiana shrugged and turned to see Lethero walking towards her. He had a slight limp, but was otherwise unharmed.

"You kill him?" Raiana asked.

"Yea, i killed the bastard." he said grimly.

"Good. Lethero, we have to find It. Its been getting to Kailani, and it'll be me next. Then, if we dont stop It, it will kill everyother mythical being on the planet. Kailani isn't too bad, but she cant fight at the moment. We HAVE to stop it!" Raiana insisted.

"And stop it we shall."

*Darm Magik you messed up my idea for a good twist, but that's ok I'll just go back to the fight and catch up*

"You stupid wolf," the priest said, "do you think you can stop me." The priest drew a sword. "And would you really kill your bretheren." Then the priest started growing hair, a muzzle started growing, he was a Werewolf.

"I'd kill any traitor of my pack!" Lethero shouted. "I trusted you but you killed my brother. You deserve to die." Lethero lunged at the priest aiming his sword at his heart, but the priest warded that off with a single blow of his sword.

"Do you actually think you can beat me?"

"Yes," and when the priest wasn't expecting it, Lethero drove the sword rightinto his gut. "This is for my brother," he said as the sword drove deeper, "this is for Nicarga," the sword went deeper, "and this is for all these mythical beings you have harmed," the sword drove right to the hilt. Slowly he drew the sword out of the priests gut and turned around and walked towards Raiaina.

You kill him?"

*oops...*feels deeply ashamed* my bad. what was ur idea tho?*

*i cant think of anything to put...*

Telayna got to the Alan's. They were pretty freaked out. She saw Althen and tears came to her eyes. She ran and hugged him.

"I was so worried they were gonna kill you!" She sobbed.

"I'm alright. I was more worried about you." He said smiling at her and hugging her back.

She turned to his Yeltane and Selanya. They were bloody and beaten up. Selayna was unconcious...or dead. And Yeltane looked like he was gonna pass out.

"Are they ok?" she asked Althen.

"No. They were beaten and forced to talk to where the others were."

"There are others?"

"No. They all died in a war between them and dragons a few months back, but they wouldn't believe us. My mother is dead." He started to cry.

"I'm so sorry." At that moment Yeltane started coughing up blood. They ran to him.

"Don't die dad! Stay with me! Please!" He was sobbing heavily.

"I'm sorry my son." He turned to Telayna. "Take care of him. Promise me that?"

"I promise Yeltane." She said. He let out a sigh and was gone. Althen screeched so loud that Telayna had to cover her ears. Once he stopped she hugged him and tried not to cry when he was sobbing on her shoulder.

"I'm sorry. I know how you feel." she said to him, stroking his hair. After, what seemed like hours of sobbing, he looked up at her.

"At least I still have you. You won't leave me right?"

"Never. The thought would never even cross my mind. I'll be here for you always." She said.

"So first of all," Lethero began, "what is 'it?'"

"'It' is a priest who died and spirit came back to kill all mythical beings," Raiana said. "On his death bed he swore to kill off all mythival beings."

"So how do we kill it?"

"Well that's kind of a problem, we need each member pf every mythical species."

"I think we got that basically."

Kailani felt the pain slowly receed from her head and everything became clear. she stood up suddenly, startling the surrounding pack and alans.

'Which way did Raiana go?' she asked. The pack just looked around at each other not saying anything.

'Tell me now!' she screamed.

One of the females pointed to the edge of the clearing and Kailani ran to the tree and began getting directions.

'what are you going to do?' Telayna asked leaving one of the Alans.

'I need to find Raiana. If It has left me it must be destracted or going after her'

She ran forward and disappeared from the clearing, reapperaing near the priests camp.

'Raiana?' she called out drawing in her magic.

'Kailani! How are you feeling?'

'Better, but i think it is closing in on you guys or it would still be with me. Where are you?'

Raiana sent an image to Kailani and she prepared to teleport there straight away.

'Kailani' Raiana said her voice full of concern, 'are you sure you are alright?'

'I'll live' Kailani replied, rubbing her temples 'just make sure you keep that pack leader out of trouble and keep a shield around your mind. I don't want you to get hurt'

Kailani felt amusement coming from Raianas and then she was pushed out as Raiana fortified her mind. Kailani drew in her magic teleported.

"Well now, look whos up and at 'em." Raiana joked as she saw Kailani.

"Shut up." Kailani said, playfully slapping Raiana's arm.

"You better?" Lethero asked.

"Yea, but i think its close." Kailani said, glancing around as if it were standing next to her.

"Relax, i've got the place shielded." Raiana said, gesturing around the abandoned house where they stood.

"Raiana told me all about It." Lethero told Kailani.

"She did?" Kailani asked, looking at Raiana.

"Hey! He asked! I didnt want to say anything. Brought back too many bad memories. He said he thought he should know what he's going up against, so i told him. We'll tell the others when we meet up with them." Raiana said.

"In the meantime, what are we gonna do?" Kailani asked.

"Uh..."
