Mythical Creatures of Sada

"Syden i have a bad feeling about this, there is more to this preist then we know." She said looking towards Lethero and Kailani, "And i think Kailani is telling Lethero about it or something."

"He wants us dead, what more could their be?" Syden asked.

"I don't know, there just seems to be something more."

"Well, whatever 'more' this is, it doesn't matter, to me," Syden said quickly, suddenly seeming very anxious. "All that matters is that we survive."

Georgia decided to circle the area. She remained in her human form and started. She heard a snap from away from the pack's direction. She transformed into a morat and teleported to the spot, changing back.

She came face to face with a human, gun drawn. He hadn't seen her change, and thought she was just light footed.

"What do you want?" She asked him.

"I could ask you the same question."

"But I asked first."

He leaned in to whisper, "I've heard that there's a pack of creatures in the pass, some of the most expensive ones too. I intend to catch them all."

Fury shook in her eyes, and she couldn't stop herself. She grabbed the gun out of his hands and pointed it at him.

"What are you doing?" he asked horrified.

"Stopping you."

"You're one of them aren't you?"

She turned into several different creatures and back to her human form, "yes I am."

"You could fit into the normal world you know, if you helpped me get them I would never say who you were."

"Same results if you were dead." Georgia fired the gun, and being as good a shot as she was managed to hit him. He fell dead.

She heard the rustling of feet as they came up on her, she cocked the gun again but it wasn't another human that came out it was the pack.

Lethero walked over to Georgia and saw the body of a human. "It be looking like you two had a good conversation," Lethero said.

"He was looking for you."

"Yeah they always be looking to kill us. You can put the gun down. It won't be like he'll get up from the dead and shoot us."

Syden gazed uncomfortably at the body. "You should've let him live," he said quietly. "Shot his leg or something. Then we could've learned where hte rest of his pack is. or whatever humans call it."

"I lost my temper. People offering me a chance at what humans call normailty in exchange for killing a bunch of beings somewhat like me does get me mad."

"So you killed him?"

She shrugged her shoulders, "well... yeah. He was here by himself, apparently we're worth quite a bit he wasn't about to share." She kicked his corpse. "Greedy humans."

Syden only sighed, but he kept his mouth shut. only Nicarga knew his secret, and he had no idea what had made him tell her, but anyone esle who knew here might kill him. He wanted to keep his secret.

Telayna was talking to one of the wolves, or more like trying to get away from the chatterbox.

"Look, I don't even want to be here. I just wanna find some other Alan's and Then I'm gone."

"Awww but you should stay. Plenty of room. You are more then welcome."

"Yeah uh...Oh wow. Did you hear that? Sounded like a gunshot. You'd better go check it out."

"huh? Oh! Yeah I'll be right back."

He ran off into the woods. Telayna's wings were back in. She went off to the side of the woods while the others were dealing with who knows what. She was deep in thought. She wasn't paying any attention and tripped. She landed in soft ground. She got up. I was a circle of it. Flat and outlined with rocks. There was two of them. She looked around and heard a screech. It sounded almost like her when she was angry. Three creatures landed in front of her...they looked like...her! She smiled. There was one older women. An older man and a younger one that looked like her age. She was overcome with joy and had tears in her eyes.

"Hi! I'm Telayna. WHo are you guys? Are there more of you? Well?"

"Slow down child. How do you find yourself alone with out others of your kind?"

"Wait....you know what I am?"

"Of Course. And by the way, I am Yeltane. This," he pointed to the woman "Is Selanya, and the young man, my son, is Althen."

"You don't know how happy I am to see you! I've never even seen one of my own kind before!"

"Where are your wings?" Althen asked.

"Oh! Sorry, I had them in cause I...well nevermind." They looked puzzled then shocked as she slowly let her wings out.

"Woah...How did you?"

"What? You can't do that?"

"My dear, That is most unatural." Yeltane said.

"Really? I never knew."

"Uh...you have beautiful wings Telayna." Althen said, his face reddening.

She smiled great, blushing. "Thank you."

"You know Telayna, if you want you can stay with us."

"Really?! You'd let me?" She hugged them and smiled "I'd love to!"

"Alright, well me and my wife will be back, you two get to know each other." and they walked off.

It was sudden, but Althen came up and kissed her on the cheek. She felt her face as red as the sun. She couldn't help it. She grabbed them and they kissed for what seemed like forever when a screech ripped through the calm atmosphere. Telayna and Althen ran to find his parents passed out in nets. There were, not hunters, but some type of cult. Like priests or something? Telayna didn't know. Someone grabbed Althen and used some chemical to make him pass out. It was so quick. She didn't want to leave, but did so, and took flight. She landed in the middle of the pack and the humans left back to the village in a hurry. She was drenched with sweat. She needed the pack now. She had to save Althen!

When Telayna landed in the middle of tha pack Lethero asked, "What is it?"

"I found others of my kind..." she started.

"Well, that's good. If you wish to go with them then go."

"But priests caught them!"

"Dammit!" Lethero yelled angerly. "Where are they?"

Syden looked up, his ears perked. "I hate preists," he muttered, standing up. Quietly, he slippedinto hte forest to look.

"They headed North, but they are long gone by now. They left fast. I think towards the town. I think that's why there's so many attacks. We're on the border of the town!"

"Well then, we must head the other direction. I want my pack to be as far away from the humans as possible."

"But we can't just leave them! Lethero, they might be the last of my kind. I can't let them die or there will never be another Alan in the sky. We will be extinct and they will win."

"But I can not put my pack in harms way."

"But they are strong. We can save them and not lose more than a few."

"Losing one is more than I am prepared to sacrafice."

"Lethero. Please do it, if not for me, for the future Alans that shall roam the skies Happily. The ones that will have you to look up to as there hero. Please Lethero." He was deep in thought when Nicarga cut in.

"Ok, I be going with you," Lethero said wearily, "but my pack be going towards where they need to go."

"And I'll go too," piped up Nicarga.

"No Nicarga!" Lethero yelled. "You're staying with my pack."

"But I want to help Telayna."

"No my pack be needing your help getting to the place. That goes for everyone else. No one but me and Telayna be going."

"Lethero, are you sure?"

I be sure, Nicarga." He stratched his ear. "Well you show the way Telayna, but keep your wings in. And Dresko, if I don't return, I want you to be the new pack learder, and Nicarga is to be one of my pack, same with Syden. If anyone says otherwise they will be casted away from the pack."

"Yes sir," Dresko said.

Georgia as a morat appeared next to Lethero and Telayna and changed back. "I'm going with you."

"No you're not," Lethero said sharply.

"Lethero I'm not technically part of your pack, so you have no right to order me around."

"Fine, but you're still not coming with us."

"Why not?"

Telayna looked sadly at Nicarga. She suddenly hugged her.

"I'm gonna see you soon, my friend." Telayna smiled. Nicarga looked at her puzzled.

"You mean it?" She asked with tears filling her eyes.

"Every last word. I'll be back before you can miss me."

"Too late. I already do."

She turned to Georgia as she spoke up.

"I don't want anyone to die," he replied mornfully. "I don't want you coming and having you die and me living with the guilt that I could have prevented your death. If it weren't for the fact that I have no clue where this place is, Telayna wouldn't be coming. Please just repect my wishes. I have seen to much death all because of prejudice. I want to end this, but I know I can't."
