Mythical Creatures of Sada

"That man Lethero killed, you loved him didn't you?"

Telayna nodded sadly.

"He regretted doing what he did to you."

"How can you tell?"

"His face was compleatly the oppsite of the man i've loved."

Fyra crooned softly. She could sense the greif withen the group.
Trotting up to the changling and the harpy, she sat down.
"Are you two alright?"

The harpy looked up at her with eyes streaked with red. "Do you think I'm alright?"

Fyra shook her head. "Sorry, stupid question."
She flapped hir wings, distressed. "I can make you feel better, for a time."

They looked at her. "How?"

"I don't whistle all the time for fun. It is said music changes moods, well, mine more so."

"That's nice, but disguising my pain won't help much. I'd rather just live with it. But thank you for the offer. What are you anyways? Some type of dragon?"

Nicarga walked close to Lethero, Syden was next to her. They moved quickly through the woods. They soon made it through the pass and moved quickly. She kept an eye close to the sky worried about attacks though she doubted it. Humens thought this area was haunted, she just happened to be the one that haunted it. This was the only place she would go on full moon hoping that only an animal would come by.

Georgia had no desire to make the pain go away. Without the pain she felt nothing. It was nice to feel something once in a while.

"If you're going to make us feel better save you energy on me, I'd rather feel the pain."

"Why do you do that to yourself?" Fyra asked.

"I don't like to talk about it."

"I'll buy it."

Fyra wondered what had got these two so down. It tinged her senses with a bitter feeling. "To answer your question, I am a firedrake. We are related to the dragons, but dragons deny it. We are but pesky lizards to them." She ruffled her wings, and continued, "We tend to be sensitive to moods. It is like... the whole surroundings is a song. Everything makes a melody, and grief is bitter, sad notes. Anger is jumpy, and loud. That's the only way I can describe it to those without the sense."

They looked at her, and the changeling demanded. "You can read emotions?"

Fyra shrugged. "Only the strongest feelings demand my attention. Simple worry and small annoyances are drowned out by the rest of the world."

She looked at the two faces, her claws flexing lazily in the dirt. "If there is anything I can do, just ask."

Kailani looked at Raiana and felt sorry for her. Five years ago Kailani had been persuing something for worse than humans when she had met Raiani. They had quickly become friends and Raiana's abilities helped Kailani forfull the deed. They had then parted to never meet again, untill Kailani had a vision of what was to come and had set out to find it. Raiana looked across at Kailani.

'What are you going to do?'

'I am going to tell Lethero and try to sort out this mess.'

'Why this pack? Why now?'

'Can't you see? There is a person from nearly every magical race here. It is got to be the right pack.' Kailani replied looked up at the sky.

'We should get back to camp' she said preparing to teleport 'The i can talk to Lethero' she added.

Kailani and Raiana were back at the camp within seconds making their way towards Lethero.

'We need to have that talk i keep telling you about' Kailani said, stopping infront of Lethero and Nicarga.

"Thats a very kind offer, but at least for me I must decline. I'm not looking for anyone, or anything. I'm just trying to forget."

"Forget what?"

"Everything before I found the pack. My whole life was... well... a living Hell."

"Looked over as Kailani walked over and asked for the talk. "Well sitdown and we can have this talk."

"I have a vision that you might need to hear."

Syden sighed an lowered his head into his paws. It seemed really...awkward would porbably be the best word, he decided. So many people with so many didfferent personallities, emotions...he shuddered. Being around a pack was uncomfortable.

But then again, so was being a loner....

Syden cursed quietly. Why did He have to choose to stay with them? Now he was stuck between two discomforts with no middle ground. He sighed and stared hard at the grass in front of his nose, thinking hard.

"Nicarga," He said. "How long had you been a loner?"

Nicarga sighed and looked up towards the sky.

"To long to remember, my pack was killed when i was tenish. So sense then," She looked at where Lethero was talking then at the rest of the pack. "It must feel weird being with a pack, it was for me too and still kinda is, though slowly i'm gaining their trust. This is such a mixed pack though."

"Why did you want me to stay?" He asked,

"So i wouldn't be the only loner." She laughed, "No, cause i don't like seeing others haveing to live with out someone to lean on every now and then. I hated it when i didn't, course no one could black mail me either, but still its just something about having people around you."

Syden shrugged. "i enjoyed being alone," he said softly, but now he knew it wasn't exactly true. He missed his solitary, but for some reason it was...lonely. he hadn't noticed it before.

"As does everyone to an extent, sometimes you need to be alone others, you wish you could surrond yourself with others." She replied not really talking to him but herself. She sighed, why hadn't she thought of that earlier.

I guess," Syden said quietly, but he hadn't convinced himself.

Lethero Looked puzzled.

'What vision? Why did you find my pack?' He asked hand on his sword even as he sat amongst his pack, but just out of earshot.

'I will start at the beginning. Five years again in my home near Jawhallow, a young Dryad had a vision of a being that had been killing other mythical creatures and stealing their lifeforce and powers. I set out to find the being and thats when i met Raiana. We traveled everywhere meeting someone from every race in Sada. When we found the creature we bound its powers by combining the power of the mythical creatures.'

'So why are you here now?' Lethero asked studdenly very serious.

'The creature had been broughtt back, and it is preying on the mythical creatures again. But this time it is much worse. It has been brought back by human priests who are feeding off the power it collects. That is why we are getting attacked by so many humans. Soon the leader of the priests will be to strong and all of us will die.' Kailani replied, staying quiet for a moment to let the news sink in.

'So what do we do now?' He asked Kailani, looking in her eyes for the first time.

'That is why i came here. This pack has a being from nearly every magical race in Sada. We need to find the leader and kill them before they get to strong. But it is up to you where and when we do. It is your pack.' Kailani replied looked back at Lethero.

'Will you help me?'
