Mythical Creatures of Sada

Fyra swooped from above. "Guess who? leaving the firedrake behind. Shame on you all!"

She landed next to the wolf. "Hello, lethero." She looked up at the dragon above. "hello, cousin!"
Raiana growled slightly.
Fyra laughed and sat down to watch the proceedings.

Raiana looked at the little firedrake sitting next to Lethero. She sighed. She longed for the day when she could fly and not have to worry about stupid humans shooting arrows at her, or the day when she didnt have to worry about a pack of wolves trusting her, and almost trying to kill her. She longed for the day when she could just be free and do what she wanted without the weight of guilt or jeaolusly, or anything else, sitting atop her shoulders. But those days were not going to come without a fight.

"Whats your answer?" she asked Lethero.

Georgia turned back into a morat, dissappeared and reappeared in human form with a chicken leg, a gun, and a new pair of boots. "Foolish humans."

"So, Nicarga," asked Lethero, "how many days left till we get to the mountain.

"With no more delays, we'll get there in about 2 days."

"Good, now let's press on."

"I thought you said we were resting here." Nicarga said seeing her plans go up in smoke, she would have to wait until later.

"We are pressing on." He said heading off. Nicarga watched him go, she ran up the side of a hill to look ahead, nothing seemed to be in their way so she caught back up with the pack. She ran under Petra who sometimes rode on her back.

"Two days?" Petra asked her.

"Yea, i think the humens will be at the short cut so we have to go the long way." She said looking up at Petra.

Georgia walked up to Lethero, "I suppose I'm joining you then, my name's Georgia."

After they travelled for the next couple days, they finally reached the the base of the mountain. When all of a sudden arrows were shot out from the trees. "Kill them my wolves! If any of you attack Nicarga, I be the one to kill you myself!"

Pulling out his sword he ran into the woods and slit the throat of the nearest human. "Nicarga," Lethero called, "if you really want my packs trust then fight!"

Nicarga wanted to yell at him she wasn't about to just stand there and not fight. She ran up and jumped in a tree tearing two men out of them and slashing their throats.

She jumped over an arrow and killed the man that had shot it at her. She saw a man aiming at one of the females and she ran towards her. She didn't see the man, Nicarga bumped into her tossing her out of the way of the arrow, she felt the arrow graze her side, it cut the skin but it wasn't bad at all.

The girl she had run into was Teskela; the girl that she had gotten into a fight with. The girl looked away and Nicarga ran towards another man when something hit her in the side.

It was Lethero, an arrow flew past them as they hit the ground. He took off not even looking at her. She killed two more humens before they were all dead.

The pack walked a bit more and then more humans. Hundreds! They fought for a long time.

Telayna woke up and heard shouts and yelps. She saw arrows flying past. She staggered up and relized the pain was gone. She was going to attack from the air, but her wings were in and it would take too much to take them out right.

"Damn things" she muttered.

She grabbed her sword and slashed through a few men. She saw Lethero grab a young man. He was going to slit the man's throat. Then Telayna saw it. It was Carson. Something came over her. She went full force into Lethero, knocking him over into a tree. He dropped Carson and he fell to the floor. Carson and Telayna held each others gaze for what seemed like hours. Then Nicarga jumped on her.

"Trator!!" she spat.

She turned and attacked a few more men. Then the hunters went fleeing.

Georgia turned into a dragon, large, green, scaley, and breathing fire. The hunters decided that she wasn't worth enough and slowly started fleeing.

Kailani teleported behind a man and stabbed him through the heart before spinning and slicing anothers throat. It had shocked her when Raiana had appeared. They needed to talk, and soon. She ran to Lethero's side and began to fight all the humans around him. She drew on her magic and suddenly the very ground the stood on was alive, tossing humans away and vines strangling them before they knew what was happening. Kailani turned to Lethero, tribe symbol blazing and smiled.

'Told you, you need my help'

Raiana yawned as she hovered in the air above the fight. She knew they could take care of themselves, unless what she suspected was true. She saw Kailani stab a man, and saw the harpy and the man stare at each other for a few moments before Nicarga jumped on her. Raiana yawned again and glanced to the north.

"Ah. Just as i suspected. Stupid humans." Raiana sighed and swooped down, flying inches above the trees. All of the sudden, the firedrake was next to her.

"Why aren't you fighting?" She shouted above the noise.

"I am. Watch this." Raiana said back, more quietly. She didnt want to give her position away now that they were close.

She hovered above the unsuspecting humans, waiting for the opertune moment. Then she saw it. She sucked in a huge breath and blew in out as a raging stream of fire. The humans were killed instantly. Raiana looked back at the firedrake and cast her a small smile.

She then flew back to the pack to watch the remaining humans flee. Lethero was hurt, but not bad. So was Nicarga. Two of the wolves were dead, but everyone else seemed fine.

Raiana landed with a soft thud and walked over to Kailani.

Syden laid down on the ground and started to lick a wound on his shoulder, and he suddenly realized he was shaking. He hadn't been in a fight like this for months. Sure, he had fought off a few humans, here and there, but nothing big. And too many werewolves; he didn't like crowds.

"maybe i'd better go," he said uncertainly, But it didn't seem as if anyone heard him. queitly, he slipped into the woods.

Nicarga watched Syden leave and she quickly bounded after him.

"Don't leave," SHe said blocking his way. "I'm sorry if you don't feel welcome." She looked towards the pack. Lethero was checking on the hurt wolves while the others were talking amoungst themselves.

"I've been alone for almost my entire life, I don't Fell comfortable around so many people!" he sighed and turned to all hte dead humans. Nicarga noticed with some revulsion that his face was troubled. "And I've never seen so many humans die at one time. for a few years, at least."
