Star Wars storybook (?) DT

Okay so let me get this straight. We've decided on using the KOTOR storyline. FIRESTARTER is going to set up the thread, right? We have a lot of Jedi/Sith characters so we are going to have to balance that out with more non-force sensitive characters, and SHIRELING the KOTOR storyline isn't that much different than the movies or books that have been written. If you get confused just send me or someone else a message and we'll help you out.

Alright let the story begin! Brave space pilot Geoff has his blaster ready to smoke the baddies, be they stormtroopers, clones, droids, dark jedi, or sith. Actually he might have some trouble with a sith. Hmm, how does a non-force wielder successfully fight a sith? I'll have to find out.

I didn't mean to put on the spot like that FIRESTARTER. I thought you were going to make it because you said "Sure thing" in your last post. My bad. We're finally getting somewhere!

I am more than happy to create the storybook, but do we not need some sense of concept first? Even a thin bare plot can do us some good, a general direction or a catalyst can help me create the topic.

With that we can tie all the characters together. Now, since we're probably going to have a mix of Jedi/Sith, it probably will have something to do with the reemergence of the Sith. I was thinking that the Sith are believed destroyed, and the Old Republic safe. However, with [insert event here] a small party of Jedi are sent to investigate. This also opens it up for other characters because the [insert event here] could be on [insert habitation here] and affect the non-force characters.

Alright I'm going to agree on the Sith re-emergence. That sounds like a good place to start. But how about it's a secret and no one knows who or what are causing disapperences and other strange events. And here's another one. How about the story is set after the war with Malak and Revan because that opens more doors for a story. So the galaxy and planets should be crammed with refugees (more potential characters) both force sensitive and non-force sensitive. I'm just saying that because of the refugees and chaos with the rebuilding of the galaxy, this would be the perfect opurtunity for the Sith to return and nobody know about it.

Sounds good to me too. Opens the door for jedi characters that have been in hiding ever since the end of the Jedi Civil War. Don't forget, if we're going with that a criminal orginization called the Exchange has bounties put out for live jedi. That aughta be fun.

Ah man! I just got an idea for a new type of lightsaber after watching something on youtube. There are double bladed and single bladed lightsabers, right? Well how about this... SABER-CHUCKS!!!

Anyway, as for re-emergence of the sith, works for me.

I think we should be a while after Revan/Malak and the Jedi Civil War. So there's been time for the Jedi Council to recover and new Jedi to be trained so there's some sort of structure there once more. Also enough time for them to suppose the Sith are either gone or in hiding.

So what do people propose this "event" to be? Maybe some sort of coup on a planet? Or something less obvious and more subtle, like the death of a governor on a planet that is drawing them toward civil war?
