Hi Nate, appreciate everything you're doing -- it's clear there's been a lot of time and effort into the changes you've been implementing over the past weeks.

I have some small requests that are purely only if you have the time to do so:

- Change the "Discussion Topic" button to "OOC Discussion" button

In roleplays we've phased out DT in favor of OOC since the Roleplay Revamp back in 2021, but this is still left over from that.

Image

You could change it to "Out-of-Character Discussion" as well, but it might be overly long. Up to you! This would affect all the forums here: viewforum.php?f=345

- Change Resources Crew to Community Crew

This is another small change and only if you have time! But, for the YWS team page, would it be possible to change the name of "Resources Crew" to "Community Crew"? To reflect how the crew is now. theteam.php

---

I also saw that you plan on phasing WFP out at some point -- I hope you are able to find some kind of alternative that works better than WFP (lord knows I've experienced my fair share of issues with WFP both as a member and a mod) because WFP has grown to be a vital part of YWS' community. I don't know how feasible it would be, but perhaps the chatroom could be turned into some kind of WFP alternative? With a chat function and a collaborative document function. Sounds like a nightmare to code, though...

Oh I have another suggestion. Maybe instead of the red trophy we could have the violet game controller for completed games in the people's tab? Like if someone becomes a garden sage it wouldn't show with the trophy but with the controller?
To make them visually distinct from other msges like cake day or review stars?

Some more suggestions!

- I would very much like the "Contact Mods" button back on the top bar. I feel that was something that helped members quite a bit. I know there were bugs with it that caused it to go away but would love to see it back.

- Re: Featured Works & Portfolio

For featured works on your profile, I'd love the ability to feature a portfolio instead of a specific work, and perhaps feature the portfolio with the cover art and the ability to write a small snippet below the Cover Art. I can mock something up when I'm not at work to better visualize what I'm talking about.

For the portfolio, I love that we can now show the cover arts in our portfolio pieces, but the dimensions are not consistent.

Looking at my portfolio,
profile/Omni/portfolio -- on Silver and Silk, there is a cover art that is cut off in this view. When I click on that portfolio: profile/Omni/portfolio/477615

The cover art is also cut off on the main part, cut off on the left and right sides this time. The cover art for each chapter is not cut off, but the one for the portfolio is. Is there a way to fix this? Would this require a standardized dimension for cover arts (like there are for profile banners)

-I'd love for a way to "Subscribe" to forums so I get notifications when any posts happen in the forum like we can subscribe to individual threads. Not sure if that's possible, though!

---

Also, I have a question: Can we reorder portfolio folder locations? I know we can reorder works in a folder, but I'm not seeing if we can reorder folders in the portfolio.

update request: adding a poetry/short stories/chapters/other filter to the green room. i most often read and review poetry, and it sometimes is a hassle to scroll through and look for poetry—would be nice if i could filter the others out.
it is always another hand that guides me.

for the new clubs page, could we at least have the option to display all our tabs like the old one? it's incredibly awkward.

additionally, i really feel that the spacing between the club feed and the "hot now" clubs should be 50/50 as i kind of want to see my own feed more than what's going on right now.

Can you make it so that we can hide whole folders in the publishing center without having to hide every individual document? Thanks!

For clubs, is there a way to make a section of the club that only club officers/admins can see and converse in? I usually have to resort to PMs to communicate with admins and officers of clubs and it would be amazing to do it within the club itself.

@Omni

Done! Only staff for that club will receive notifications for topics / posts in the club staff area.

Thank you! I was actually in a club when this popped up XD

Some clubs are quite old and have a LOT of forum threads. Is it possible to get a way to archive forum threads? So they're still viewable but in a separate area so the main forum can be cleaned up without deleting the old threads.

@Omni ->> That's a much harder request, but I'll take a look at it. Might fold that into the ability to add more forums for clubs via the new tab creation tool.

Edit

Regardless of how difficult something is, I want to do anything to make clubs more popular. So any ideas for clubs to make them more useful is very welcomed.

Apologies for the spam suggestions, but an additional suggestion for clubs:

Can we have a way to "favorite" a club? So it will show at the top of the Club main page or in a spot on the sidebar.

@Omni ->> You can pin clubs to My Clubs (added last night). Look for the pin in the lower right hand corner of the club cards when scrolling through My Clubs.

If that works but the functionality isn't clear, would a heart work better? If it's not quite what you mean though, just holler.
