Now that it's been ten weeks, RP Crew will be reaching out to each team about Tsunami. For context, LSS Round I had Tsunami on Week 10, when three ships were left. LSS Round II had Tsunami on Week 20, when four ships were left. We'd like your thoughts on this round's Tsunami! Keep an eye out for our messages, and may you have smooth sailing this week!! ^-^

Awesome job making it to week 12, everyone!! This week will have the usual 2,500 word count target... but hang on, do you hear that? Methinks the waves are getting rougher and the winds wilder :eyes:

Helloooooo everyone! Not quite week 13 yet, but RP Crew wanted to update you with the plans for Tsunami! Here's how the following weeks will work:

Week 13 (8/19 to 8/25): 5,000 word count goal (double the usual 2,500)
Week 14 (8/26 to 9/1): 10,000 word count goal
Week 15 (9/2 to 9/8): 20,000 word count goal
Week 16 (9/9 to 9/15): breather week (no words or log post required. planning for Tsunami is encouraged)
Week 17 (9/16 to 9/22): Tsunami (write as much as you can!! word count during this week only will determine the winner of LSS Round III)

We make it through the first island through unlikely allies, strong partnerships, a little bit of sibling rivalry, and a whole lot of team spirit! We're picking ourselves out of the deep end and heading full throttle into the Tsunami!

The seas have claimed another ship, though they have fought valiantly and skillfully throughout their journey! Hop on over to their OOC thread to congratulate them for their accomplishments and story thus far ^^

And then there were four...

Remember, the word count goal this week is 5,000 words!! If you have not used your lifeboat yet, you may still use it, with the usual rule of having to write double the next week's word count. For example, if a ship fails to meet word count this week, they would need to write 2 x 10,000 = 20,000 words next week. I wish you all good sailing!! :]
