Obviously it's up to you @yoshikrab but I might suggest we make sure the thing that stops her isn't something that could seriously affect the rest of the book, like a broken arm or something. Because then the rest of the storybook or however long it takes to heal a broken arm, TheRealEuphoria would be stuck with that. So maybe it's more along the lines of her having a bad headache or maybe a mild concussion from hitting her head wrong in the plane crash-not-crash.

That's a good idea, except Aiden doesn't really currently have any motivation to do that. And he's not going to push Amelia's limits on the first day. She said she'd kill him if he used his power against anyone else, and he needs to see how far she's willing to go with things before he actually pushes those buttons.

I think it can be like this that Aiden and Rose planned that aiden will give her like . . . hay fever or something so that she can avoid this stupid talent showing thing and when TheRealEuphorio comes we can have Amelia come in the last and say that she knew they were acting and at the last Rose can show her talent. I think till then anyone else can post
ImaginativeAlice, I like that idea, but I really don't think Aiden would do that. For one, they haven't had any chance to talk alone since the plane, and they wouldn't have planned it out that far in advance. He's also trying to get other people to like him, so I don't think he's going to scare them away by pretending to get someone else sick.

There was a weird thing on the plane, right? There was some sort of turbulence. Maybe she was jostled out of her seat, not wearing a seatbelt because of *rebellion*, then cracked her head/hurt herself badly.

Fair enough, Yoshi. Okay... I think illness is off the table... she seemed fine before, I don’t know how she could suddenly be “not fine.” But maybe she’s hurt on accident? For example, my character can create anything just by imagining it. Maybe when demon-girl-I-forgot-her-name lunges at Aiden, Kendrick created something on reflex—something that inadvertedly knocks out Rose for the rest of the “talent show.” Like maybe he spawns a stun gun but flinches with his aim and hits Rose?
