@Tortwag I believe it was edited before I read it anyway, so I can't really confirm anything. We'll see for the future. *Shrug*

Gotcha. The post wasn't edited yet, though, but eh, no rush for that. Aaaand Nico Ringo has a car now. *adds to lore* Yay!

Jenna doesn't have a car or a license. Only a permit. It's cheaper that way. (Sorry.) But I'm sure 2 seniors with cars is already enough, since that's about 10 seats total for the smallest cars, including the drivers. :) With Jenna and her family's character, I know she wouldn't have one yet.

Yeah! 2 drivers should be fine, and you've got a lore-related reason for that, so, yay! *chuckle* Would be fun to have our characters mention the family issue, actually - would be an interesting talk for most of 'em.

I understand, @Lael! It makes sense for the character, and I love that little detail thrown in.

By the way, I'm currently writing the next post for this. It's not going as quickly as I hoped it would, but I was always trying to type it up in a car ride. So there's that. xD No matter what, it still should be posted by the end of tonight.

Thanks, Tort! I'm glad to dedicate my time to this storybook. c:

The next round has officially begun! You've all been issued a challenge, and I see that some of you have already claimed plot points. Thanks for being so on top of things. We do need someone to go next, so I'd appreciate if one of the people who hasn't read through the plot yet claim that point soon.

Question: What is the dress code? How strictly enforced is it?

US dress codes are pretty lax in general. Most likely anything is fine as long as it's not provocative or a hat.

Yeah, I know that my school's is almost nonexistent because of a certain incident. I thought it was a good idea to get other input though, since I know one school doesn't represent the whole country.

slides into conversation

Sorry about the late reply! Like @Thundahguy said, student dress codes would be pretty lax. Clothing with weapons and/or swears is prohibited, and hats/hoodies aren't allowed to be worn inside the school.

(I may or may not be basing it off of my own school.)

Seems to be a widely accepted approach in schools that don't have uniforms, since I've seen a few in Western Europe, and it's... basically the same thing? I'm not sure which state the Americans I've talked to came from, but basically, all of them told me Sae's version. No weapons, no swears, hats + hoodies removed once inside.

What about eating/gum and using phones?

In my school, anyway, I'm pretty sure gum is permitted and phone use is permitted at the teacher's discretion and between classes.

Same with mine! You can also use phones when you have free time in class.
