As for the Texas thing, it didn't strike me as being over the top just yet, m'dear, but you'll prolly have to look up a few people from Texas to see how they talk, and make sure you incorporate it well.

I didn't want to have it seem like I was forcing it, but I might have to add a bit more. I watch a couple Texan youtubers, and they don't actually say y'all a lot but I guess it depends on what they are talking about. Eh, I'll figure it out eventually.

@TheBlueCat your use of "y'all" is just fine. Some people use it a lot more than others, so it's okay regardless.

And I'll try to get my post in sometime, though it may take a while.

Eventually, you'll get a good enough feel for your character for whatever you need to add to come in naturally, so yeah, you should be fine.

@TheBlueCat, first of all, great post! But at the end, says that the characters don't know who the other people in the prophecy are. While this is technically true, they have guesses for all of the other people mentioned.

The Challenge: First Arc - The Starting Arc

This round of posts is the start to our unconventional chosen one story! The main goal of it is to introduce the cast and having their team start to form. After all, they're going to be saving the world together! Once they figure out what they're saving it from, that is.

Completion Time: 8 posts

Credits Awarded: You can get one credit by including dialogue from at least one other character. You can get a second credit by following the plot point of your choice. A third credit can be earned if your post is at least seven hundred words for a total of three credits.

Born on the day of Reconciliation, deceased on... an unimportant date, this challenge will be missed.

Even though the challenge has officially ended, I'd love for everyone who hasn't posted yet to try following through with it. By the way, when can you get a post up, @Lael?

Within the next couple of weeks. I'm so sorry for the delay! Things have been so hectic and busy, but please remind me if I forget to within the time frame.

Hmm, Jenna's thought patterns are a lot sadder than I expected them to be, buuut I guess recent memories of leaving a good home doesn't exactly help.
