I don't particularly like the no-clothes-after-morphing-back bit or whatever, but eh.
I would, however, prefer there not be a time limit. Maybe put some sort of penalty if they stay in animal form too long, but nothing like them getting stuck or being forced to turn back.
Maybe they keep some animal parts in their human form for a bit if they've been an animal for too long. Like Neon hides in kitten form for a day or so and when he turns back into human Neon he's got a tail or something for a while.

I dunno, though. I just don't like the idea of having a time limit before they switch back and I don't like anyone getting stuck.

What if they are flying and they morph back into a human? Crashing to their death? They don't know when it ends so there is a possibility that they could be alive or dead. Also if they were stuck in their animal, they would only be another animal in the animal kingdom soooo I think there shouldn't be a time limit on how long they are their animal.

I really dont like the no clothes bit either. And I dont like the idea of a time limit.

I do like the having a certain animal part for staying in morph for too long. That would be an interesting conflict.

I do like the idea of them not being able to control the morph in the beginning, but I think it would be better if they couldnt control like getting a random tail or beak, like small things. After they fully morph they could fully control it.

@Chaser I.... Didn't think of it that way. I meant, they might bring an extra pair of clothes in case one of the other animorphers turn or something like that... Nothing... like what you were talking about.

I agree with Hattable that there shouldn't be a time limit but I do like the idea of there being consequences...

The no-clothes thing is weird but it just seems really unrealistic for it not to be an issue.

*cough* And kids turning into animals isn't unrealistic? :P

Well, we could have a minor clothes problem in the beginning, but then a mysterious package arrives at each of their doors. It's a suit of whatever fabric the scientists had developed so their super soldiers could morph them.

No one knows who or where it came from. All they know is that they can morph with the suits.

@Sunshine1113

I like that idea.

Sunny, you're telling me that if a mysterious package with no return address or anything appeared on your doorstep, and it had clothes in it, that you'd wear said clothes? o.o

I'm trying to think of an idea, but I'm also doing homework so... Sorry if I'm not adding anything helpful to the conversation at hand. >.>

So... They're going to be tigers and wolves running around with clothes on?

@Sunshine1113 And if any of the scientists actually survived the bombing and knew where they were, they would capture them, not send them clothes wouldn't they?

@Hattable, With genetic research and altering DNA considering humans are mammals too, isn't people being able to morph into animals a lot more plausible than ordinary clothes morphing, too?

I'm not trying to argue or anything, I'm just trying to figure out what would make the most sense and what is most plausible.

I'm just gonna use the show H2O as an example here. The girls turn into mermaids when they get wet. (Duh.) Anyways their clothes kind of just go with them, and when they turn back their clothes return. I know it doesn't make sense, but in the long run it makes things a lot easier for writing aspects and it could create a funny moment where one of the characters could tell a family member and they could ask the funny day old question "So...like...where do your clothes go?"
Just a suggestion.

Perhaps they could have problems at the beginning but then the rebel group could recruit them and help them develop a material that would morph with them?

@Hattable I think Neon would be crazy enough to wear such a thing

@Leftywriter Maybe the fabric wouldnt be seen after morphing. Kind of like what Hazel said. The material would be like a second skin almost. So as their human skin goes away, so would the material.

Also, maybe there is a rebel scientist in on the project. He/she infiltrated the project and maybe was assigned to making the material

Of course Neon XP but the others?

Also, what if instead of getting these suits delivered, they find these "cool-looking suits" and just take them while they're at the lab (it was a lab, right?). I mean, I doubt everyone would take one, but Neon might, and maybe another student would. Then they could... *mind goes blank*

Why don't we have the scientists "accidentally" make something that can be fitted with the humans when the morph? And they don't even realize it until they morph? Then they put it into the genes of the teens. This is kinda like what Hazel said..
