Someone else could carry his clothes for him or something

why not have the clothes morph with them or something?
Just throwing the idea out there, you guys could probably think of something better.

Surely they could but what if they are wearing like skinny jeans or something? I mean there is such a thing as stretchable pants or something. Yet they could easier rip if they morph into their animal form, then what will they wear when they are human? Ripped jeans and a torn-in-two blouse.

@Stegosaurus, a small little newt-sized bag wouldn't be able to hold human clothes. >.>

In the book series, they could wear clothes when they morphed if they were skintight and they couldnt morph shoes. They couldnt morph anything baggy.

BUT we could say the scientists made a tweak with the machine and they could morph clothes.

Just an idea.

Maybe they could leave their bags somewhere? Like when they morph into an animal, they have a bag of clothes waiting until they come back. These are just ideas.

Also I like what Sunshine is going with. The scientists could alter the genes and make it possible for them to morph with clothes on. That could possibly work.

@Stegosaurus, what if they had to morph back to human form before they could get back to their bags? I think we should just go with some way that makes their clothes morph along with them, like Sunny and Fantasy said.

That's what I think also since as you said, they could morph back into human form and be clothless.

Also another question: is there a time limit for how long you can morph into an animal and stay that animal?

Book says 2hrs before they get stuck. We could make it like 1hr 45mins if we wanted to make things interesting.

Or there could not be a time limit at all. If they were creating an army of super soldiers, why would they make it so they were compromised with the fact they would have to change back after a certain period of time? It would be horrible for stealth missions and going incognito for long periods of time. The scientists could have worked that bug out.

Hey, guys! I figured when they morphed that their clothes would just fall off/rip. I mean, does it really make sense that their clothes would morph with them? Maybe the scientists could come up with a special material that would morph with them (similar to Fantastic 4) but if they're just wearing normal clothes, I don't think it would make sense for them to morph with them. Their DNA changed, but their clothes should be normal. It would allow for some funny, complicated and embarrassing situations, which I suppose could get weird, but it wouldn't have to be a big part of the story and they could figure out how to deal with it. The animorphers could kind of look out for each other, too. At least, that's how I saw it going.

As for a limit for how long they can morph... I haven't given it a lot of thought. Maybe at first they can't control how long their morphed while later on they can control exactly when they morph back and forth?

The idea of them getting stuck after a certain amount of time is interesting... What I mentioned before could still work (if people wanted to) but there could also be a limit. Like maybe they can't control it at first and could morph against their will and be an animal between one minute and 1 1/2 hours before switching back, while after they can control it, they can't let it go past 1 hour and 45 minutes. Although... How would they know there's a limit?

Just thinking out loud...
