Sorry I sort of dropped off the planet for a few days. Work + Halloween + My Sister Coming Down gave me very little time to do much on YWS. But Halloween has passed, my sister has gone and I have the next four-ish days off, so I should have a lot more time. I'm pretty tired tonight, so if I don't get to work on my post tonight, I will most definitely have both Layla's and Cole's up by tomorrow.
@LordZeus I agree that Mr. Nelson should just keep an eye on them, at least for a while. It could be a source of their paranoia and feeling watched, and maybe he would have something to do with Riley getting captured. Maybe later on they could figure him out and he would tell them stuff against his will?

congrats on becoming the Storybooker to look out for for Novemeber 2015 @LeftyWriter! BTW Mr.Nelson would obey whatever the Protectorate decided to do.
For some reason, it wasn't clicking in my mind that Mr. Nelson being a rebel was connected to thee rebel group. Bleh... I've been rather sidetracked. Anyway, if he was part of the Protectorates, then he probably wouldn't have much of anything to do with Mr. Neil unless the Protectorates knew about the experiment and were keeping an eye on him for that purpose. In which case, they could maybe be responsible for Mr. Neil's disappearance. It also wouldn't make sense for him to be with the government because if they new exactly where/who the animorphers were, then they would just swoop in and get them. So by him being a part of the rebel group, it kind of ties that part of the plot in. Maybe he could try to recruit some of them later on? Just throwing ideas out there, but I definitely like the idea of Mr. Nelson being part of the Protectorates. So then, when it comes to him telling them everything, maybe he could down the road, but I think it should be a while so they can try to figure stuff out on their own.

This is just my inner Grammar Nazi taking control of my fingers for the time necessary to write and submit this post - the rebel group's name is simply "The Protectorate". If you said "Protectorates", it would mean the name is an umbrella term for several rebel organisations.

Winter is inevitable. Spring will return eventually, and AstralHunter with it.
That's mostly what I was trying to say. I think that Mr.Nelson would have been sent to the school to keep an eye on Mr.Neil, whom the rebels knew was working for the government, but not any specifics. After the animorphers started morphing, the rebels caught on, and told Mr.Nelson to watch the kids until they decided what to do with them. Mr.Neil had already vanished by that point, and one knew where he was. What do you think? And I was abt to say was astral said, but then I saw his post and deleted that part. And @HazelGrace16 yes I'm pretty sure we r doing weekly posting. yet we are still waiting on several to make their posts.

We are still waiting for me to post, sorry I haven't been able to, it's all written. But I've had college stuff (yay applications and interviews!) all weekend and couldn't post. Should be posted tonight.
@Hattable Okay, I'll do that. I wouldn't have anything to post until the "field trip" anyway. soooo...
Splish.
also, should we post a character realtionship thing for Cole? I mean he's a new character and all (And I really really really want to.) Gosh, The pickpocket thing gave me such a good idea for a "Don't Touch My Journal" moment with him and Riley.
We're still waiting on me, Sunny, Noelle and Hattable. @TheFantasy14, I think at least for the first posts it would be good if everyone posted before going again. Stego might have just missed your post when they listed.
We do have a one-post a week requirement. Sunny mentioned she should have hers up by tonight and I will definitely have mine up today. @Hattable, that's fine. It's been kind of a crazy week with Halloween and NaNo and such, so it's okay if it takes us a little longer to get the first posts out.
Noel mentioned that she hoped she'd have her post up in a couple days on Thursday, but that's the last she's mentioned it.
@TheFantasy14 You're welcome to, but his first post will be his first day of school at Silver Creek High in which case no one will have met him yet. But you're welcome to post Riley's thoughts on him based on after she meets him.
Edit: I hope everything I've said makes sense. I'm kind of groggy and out of it today so I hope I'm making complete and logical sentences.
