I could kill said character when Soldier Riley is released. I wanted something like that to happen to maybe add more guilt when Riley comes out from under the influence of the chip.

I'm not sure that would work...I mean the US wants to capture the animorphers not kill them so if they programmed the chip they would have done that specifically.

@LordZeus You have a point but at the same time, death of the character could be accidentally when Riley is trying to catch him. Or perhaps the chip malfunctions or something of the sort. It could work.

I'll write Layla's part as soon as I know what's going on for sure. Because whether I create the new character or not will greatly influence her storyline.

So... you are going to kill of your character to make a new one? It seems lovely and all. Since by some chance something could go wrong and make them die ex. being stuck in their animorphs animal or as Lefty said, chip malfunctions.

Also could spice up the plot ;)

Well, like Nightcrawler was saying, we don't necessarily need anymore characters. But by having an open slot with each of us already have a character, we have some freedom, such as, a character could be killed off without someone having to leave the storybook due to them having killed off their character. Sort of a character in play to help move the story along. Bring more emotion and difficulty into the plot. This character, however, would be in the storybook for a while before being killed off.

So, if people think we should make a character, it sort of comes down to who should make it. So far it seems three people are interested. (Myself, Wolfie36 and Hattable) Although, with the idea of killing off this character, I'm not sure how they would feel about it when it comes to their character.

Maybe it could be a Japanese scientist that escaped the lab when it was destroyed. He/she could have been the one to invent and program the chip, and thus made it that they were the only one who could command Soldier Riley (Maybe voice command and the chip only recognizes their voice or something like that.) and orders her to kill the character.

Just an idea: That could be a dramatic moment where Riley would have to decide who to kill. Like Emma tries to stop her, but watches as she kills the new character. That could create conflict. Plus once Emma knew the truth she would really want to help. @TheFantasy14

I actually volunteer Jinx as a sacrifice later on in the SB. I adore death scenes. :P

@Nightcrawler Technically, in this intense of a storyline, more than one character could die. But, are you sure you want to sacrifice your character?

@Wolfie36 Did you have any ideas for your character?

I think what would make the most sense is for the three of us (Myself, Wolfie and @Hattable) to post our character ideas/descriptions and have people vote on who they think would be best to add to the storybook. Thoughts?

I'm also open to other ideas. ;)

That sounds like a good plan, @LeftyWriter. And I wouldn't kill him for a while, but when it's a good time I would love to write a fun fight scene and give him a heroic death.
