Lefty, I honestly like your troublemaker cousin idea the best. My only idea was to have a twin or something, but that would change a lot of things and bleah.

Remember this option, too, if we're just going to kill off this new character: why don't we just keep Hannah and kill her off right away? It'll keep things simpler, but still add a realistic aspect and a bit of terror. Her death can be the beginning of the conflict, when the other characters begin realizing something is wrong. The morning after the field trip, Hannah can be found dead in her bedroom, with contorted features and a baboon tail or something. That'll show that the chip and the technology is far from perfect, and it'll kinda alert the government that probably some other animorphers are on the loose. At her funeral, the eleven students (or those that come) could be making eye contact and planning what they should do.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled
and do not be afraid.

@LeftyWriter, at this point, the easiest way of determining what to do is by setting up a poll. (You can add one by editing the first DT post.) It can have several options, so that would be the most convenient way of keeping track of everyone's choices.

Thanks for letting me know, @AstralHunter! I'll definitely do that.

Okay! Poll is up! This is probably what we should have done from the beginning, if I had known it was possible. :P Anyway, if you've got a moment, please vote! Thanks!

Also, let me know if I'm missing an option. I tried to remember everything that was suggested.

@Wolfie36 The idea of killing Hannah off could work, but I'm not sure it makes sense for it to be that soon. The night after the field trip, they might not even know what happened yet. A fever or something small at most. They would have no idea why Hannah died (maybe her body couldn't handle the transition, which would pretty much be the only thing that would make sense at that point) and they'd think it was a fluke, not related to the lab at all. The lab wouldn't have been bombed at that point and there wouldn't be any reason for there to be tension as they probably wouldn't know anything about the experiment or being hunted. It would however, cause some tension if they started having symptoms and they were afraid they were going to die like Hannah, causing paranoia. But I'm not sure if I like the idea of that. It's a little dark. Just my opinion, though.

You are most welcome, @LeftyWriter! Fortunately, I was around to help you out, but if you ever find yourself in a sticky spot, recite the YWS national anthem by your nearest flag pole while hopping on one foot and juggling Granny Smith apples coated in a caramel candy coating. An SB mod will arrive within in minutes. (This might not apply outside of November though, as next month's SB Newsletter will show you.)

I could definitively try and take on option #6 of the poll if that is wanted. I want to get back into active story booking, because I have really missed it and this SB seems so much fun!

I feel like option #6 would be a good one since we are wasting a perfect character. Sure she doesn't have anyone liking her or have any crushes, Hannah can grow on from being herself!

Hey guys I was thinking that Mr.Nelson, the world history teacher in my SB post could be a rebel agent sent to the school to keep an eye on Mr.Neil. I think that would work seeing how he feels about the rising tensions between countries, and wants to stop it.

Thanks! Another thing I was wondering, what would this rebel organization be called? I was thinking The Protectorate, as I would think they want to protect the world from war, but I'm sure you guys have much better ideas!

@LordZeus

That seems like an awesome name! However, I have an suggestion: why not the Protectors or something?

Maybe...but the protectorate sounds more...sophisticated somehow to me. I dunno how to explain it, but I prefer it to the protectors. No offence though.
