Spoiler

...Hm. Really didn't do a good job with manipulating that background. I'll have to fix that. In any case, you can stop collecting Sun, Astral. My squad's ready. Starting with 28 warirors, as we've both promised (evil chuckle). Now, I DID notice that your plants were... Um.. QUITE STRONG, to say the least, so I took the liberty of using 2 Boss-class Beanbean Kingdom warriors by my side - with limitaitons of course, which I shall explain at once (anyone that doesn't at all wants to read anything about me and Astral's skirmish, skip the following spoiler):

Spoiler
-First off, and although it saddened my evil heart to do that, I removed Popple. He's actually much, MUCH deadlier when he fights alone, which I planned him to do, and with just one attack - affectionally called "Bag of a Thousand Tricks" - he could wipeout/poison/explode most of the plants from the Plants VS Zombie cast in a few turns, by himself.
I'm not joking. That 3rd battle is hard. Also? 520 HP. Which... is a lot, even for a boss in that game.

- Though I added Queen Bean in my army, she's one of the earliest bosses in Superstar Saga, and is therefore more than beatable as long as you have a good strategy - by the way, you cannot damage her main body 'til both of her arms are... "shrunk". Don't worry though, you're supposed to aim for those arms first anyway. You won't like what happens when you do though, heheh.
So yeah, because she's an early boss, she's actually weaker than many of the common enemies standin' by her side there.

- Piranha Bean (the skinny walkin' plant) is technically a boss, but I do believe I'm allowed to use it. First, because he falls in the mini-boss category ingame (you can - and have to - beat him with JUST Luigi, which is easy, and he'd be cake if Mario was by your side), and second because in the game, quite a few common enemies (that I haven't taken) are stronger than he is. So... yeah. He's basically an oversized common enemy. I believe I can use that. Do tell me if you have a problem with this reasoning however, I can switch him out. But once again: think well. you might regret finding out what I switch him out with

- The second actual Boss - my favorite by far in terms of concept and abilities, as well as one of the many nightmarish foes from the early days of my gaming career - has a limitation created by yours truly, based on the story of the game - if you're interested, just tell me and I'll elaborate. It's basically a summoning: I have to spend 6 turns doing the summoning, else he remains in his barrel form - and if Bubbles (the old man) dies before 6 turns have past, when the time elapses, the Boss appears anyway, but in a weaker form (he HAS weaker forms anyway, and I'll divide his power based on the wiki and some calculations of my own) and with less health that his full capacity.
He CAN however retrieve his full power if I heal him enough - once again following the story arc of the game - so beware.

Beware of the Chucklator, Astral.

Whew! There. Satisfied? Shall we begin? How will this be organized? I have an idea, but I wanna hear yours first.

Also, um, Brain called today. He wants to thank you, Astral. I came up with another concept related to plants, involving a Pepper Scythe MkI, a plant-like civilization, and vegetal-inspired armors.

@Robusto I shall NOT read that post 'til I get my music back - you always choose epic ones. Allow me to enjoy myself with that storm (lol) that will apparently unfold in it.

Your Zero-related summaries never fall to impress me, @Robusto. Each one is more interesting than the last, and this one is no exception. I can only imagine what the next one might be, at the rate this is going. O_O

In an unrelated note, I will be able to comment on your post, Robusto, in a few hours here. I'm still busy with schoolwork, and I haven't had time to read it yet. However, by the sound of it, I know that I'll enjoy it. :)

@Tortwag...
You. Have. The. SODA BOTTLE IN YOUR ARMY!!!!
AND QUEEN BEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loath those two bosses. I played that game when I was younger, and so was used to the bosses not having alternate points to attack. So when I first got to Queen Bean, I would spend literally hours sitting there hitting away with my Hammer, hoping for some result. And I didn't know the Soda Bottle's shield had to be broken either. As such, you have united my two most hated enemies in videogame history here in my writing sanctuary.

Heh.
HeheheheheheheheheahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!

@Robusto I KNEW those two were hated, as both of them were quite difficult to defeat for a squid kid fighting them the first time - I had trouble ESPECIALLY against the Chuklator - but I still loved both of them dearly. Hey, remember the healing jokes? XD

@Tortwag, I think we should each provide a summary of our forces' statistics and abilities. It would be more convenient if you summarised yours, rather than me having to look it up, and naturally, I'm willing to do the same. However, it seems you looked them up already, so tell me what I need to explain.

Also, my plants are stationary, since Zombies attempt to invade my house, while I keep them at bay. (PvsZ is, after all, a Tower Defense.)
But the Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

@AstralHunter, you're fighting a superior force. Resistance is futile.

@AstralHunter I'm siding with Robusto there. You're going down.

Putting my confidence aside, luckily for you, I used a folder to organize myself, so allow me to give me the statistics available for my army, Mario & Luigi-style.
Now, I AM aware that your plants are stationary, which is why most of my army will be the one movin' around. The point is for one of the army to be the last one standing anyway, and both of our forces can carry out that objective.

Spoiler
Shell Master Tortwag's BeanBean Forces:

1 Queen Bean - can attack everyone in front of her as long as she's got at least one arm up. BECAUSE SHOCKWAVES.
HP: Queen Bean (120), Left Arm (22) Right Arm (22)
Defense 30
Speed 90
(When losing her two arms, she can summon Beanies at will. up to five per turns. And take note: you can't damage her muscular main body at all until the arms are out. And they regenerate.)
Beanie:
Lv5, HP6
Defense 20
Speed 18)

6 Pestnuts - just like you, m'dear, I'm mostly taking the elite versions of my enemies. These nuts (lol) can poison upon physical contact.
Level 19
HP 40
Defense 50
Speed 20
(Note: when more than half of its HP are down, I'll roll a dice. If I guess right between Even or Odd, a Gold Beanie pops out of the shell instead of a regular one.)
Gold Beanie (Note: consider yourself LUCKY. Because I could've just taken 28 Gold Beanies - the ones from Dream Team, AKA most powerful common enemy in a Mario RPG ever - but since it's not fun, I'm taking a regular army.)
Level 11
HP 11
Defense 38
Speed 10

2 Lakipea – Floats above ground. Attacks by throwing spike balls. If deflected or not affecting an enemy, they turn into Sharpeas, which join my side as minions. Just like Queen Bean's regular Beanies.
Yes, I'm a dastardly being.
Lucky for you, both Sharpeas and Beanies are basically Goombas in terms of power, sooooo... you'll be fine.
Level 21
HP 40
Defense 60
Speed 35
(Sharpea:
Level 7
HP 8
Defense 22
Speed 32)

2 Piranha Bean – Can walk around and spit fire balls from its mouth. Can also approach an enemy and eat it to inflict more damage – close-range only.
Level 27
HP 180
Defense 138
Speed 60

4 Spiky Snifit – unmoving cactus-like Snifits. Can aim at everyone, anywhere on the map. Either throws spiky balls or mushrooms – once again, to make it fair (since it's random ingame), I'll have to decide what he throws by using a dice.
Level 22
HP 80
Defense 50
Speed 30

3 FuzzBush – Moving bushes that throw fuzzies as an attack. Since there are several types of fuzzies (and with various effects), dice is gonna be used again. Gosh, I'm SUCH a gambler XD
Level 13
HP 15
Defense 34
Speed 26
Summons Fuzzies - dice-chosen, three types: Poison (green), Multiplying (yellow), Damage Heal (black).
Heheheh. These, however, are MUCH harder to deal with than Beanies or Sharpeas. Trust me.

1 Bubbles – is basically Chucklator's personal healer/summoner. From what's seen in the game though, his legs are powerful enough to cause a freakin' earthquake, so let's assume he's not entirely defensless.
Level 8
HP 150
Defense 26
Speed 50
(Acts as Chuckolator's healer and summoner)
NOTE: statistic based on the Chucklator, but divided. He doesn't actually fight ingame, but he shows off some super strength, and surprising speed/agility.

1 Chucklator – Yeeees. Mah baby :3
Can switch battle pattern at will between Sword or Gun, being able to battle at close range/distance with both. I can't wait for those 6 turns already...
Level 13
HP 300
Defense 52 (with shield) 30 (no shield) 53 (small)
Speed 43 (with sword) 56 (with gun) 58 (no shield) 100 (small)

4 Piranha Plant – In Superstar Saga (and unlike Paper Mario 64), they can't move. So they're unmoving projectile throwers. Though I'm only using the electric ones.
Level 20
HP 30
Defense 40
Speed 80
(Electric)
(cannot move)

6 Scaratroopeas – Both powerful airborne attackers (that you will hate) and healers (that you will ALSO hate). They can heal up to 2 people on the field by the way, including themselves. They're part plant (the healing comes from there), and they're common enemies. Enjoy.
Level 35
HP 70
Defense 100
Speed 70
(high healing ability, can resurrect ¼ of a dead enemy's life)

And there you have it! As for what you need to explain... well... I DO need your opinion on this:
-Your characters are from Plants VS Zombies, mine are from the Marioverse. So, since I'd better move based on some rules, I suppose I should do it Mario Party-style. In other words, each time I select a character (for moving only), I role a dice, and the number on that dice (from 1 to 10, because it's up to 10 squares in Mario Party) will become the number of squares my minions can move to. For anything else, it's an RPG, so I'll just select whatever other action I'll make and tell you. Any thoughts on that?
