I passed Davis, just like that, in the public Library and later on I heard
He had drowned in a swamp pond swimming...
And now I can never say hello again,
Worse, the poor family also lost his brother, later!
I passed Diana, just like that, I didn't wave or nod, and later on I heard
She was expelled for possessing a phone, we were at school, in the last year of High School!
We met again when while applying for MUK*
I didn't believe my eyes at first…we caught up on school and life.
Briefly though, so the moment didn't fade.
And the other night I passed Veda in-front of her shop, just like that and I didn’t see hello, later on...
What will I hear? Somebody broke into that shop or something worse?
Not again! Davis and Diana flash through my mind.
We buy groceries from there!
I found her sweeping next night; I had to more than respond to her greet.
Briefly though, so the moment won’t fade.
When I fail to greet somebody
I pray it doesn't get as bad as Davis’.
I might be superstitious or something but,
Not greeting people tends to bear some significance…

Hi there. This is a really cool poem. Here's a review for you.

I hope this review helps you moving forward. Always keep writing!
First of all, I really like the general idea and the message behind this poem. In my belief, poetry is the emotional and the spiritual literary form and is also the most effective at conveying a powerful emotional message that will register with the reader. I think that you have done a good job of accomplishing that feat here. The whole idea of failing to greet someone and then having to live with the regret of knowing that might have been your last chance to speak to them is a really profound concept, and it's something that people don't really think about on a daily basis. What I think you were trying to show here was that it's vitally important that each and every one of us value everyone who comes into our life, for better or for worse, because nothing is more painful that not realizing what you have until it is gone. If that was the message you were trying to convey, you hit the nail on the head. Nice job there.
Now then, for the constructive criticisms. *clears throat*
It seems that although the message within this poem and the conceptual nuances of it evoke complex emotional reactions, the actual writing of it falls just a little bit short in that regard. What I mean by this is that you should try to add a little magic to your writing here to really make sure that message resonates on more than just an objective level. In this poem, you talk about how you failed to say hello to someone, and then learned that you will never see them again. That is a very powerful thing. Try adding a little more spice to your writing style here (maybe employ some sharper diction and add some imagery/metaphorical stuff) in order to put that same emotional response that you had into the minds (and hearts) of your readers. I feel like this is a piece of writing that's got so much emotion behind it, but falls just a little bit short of coming full circle with all of those feelings. In short, try to make sure your readers don't just LEARN your message, but that they FEEL your message too.
Other than that and a few petty errors that I'm sure you'll probably fix upon proofreading, I'd say this was very well done.
Diction and metaphors, i think I've heard that request before...yeah thanks. I will keep that in mind.
Hey there KissMe here to give a review!
Let's jump on in!
So fist off great poem, I liked it very much. But a few things I wanted to pick out. First off great spelling and grammar. But your punctuation was a little off, you use a lot of commas in it. Also your formatting, maybe you could put them into more stanzas and move the lines down. Like when it says
"And the other night I passed Veda in-front of her shop, just like that and I didn’t see hello, later on..."
That's one line, maybe break it down to three or even two:
"And the other night I passed Veda in-front of her shop,
just like that and I didn’t see hello, later on..."
Or just add the 'later on...' To a new line. It's up to you but maybe shorten the lines up, it will make it look cleaner. And like I said put them into stanzas. But the main thought in the poem was clear and nice. I enjoyed this poem, but please think about what I said. You don't have to do it but it might make it look better. Thank you for posting it on here it was great.
Keep writing and follow your dreams!!

lesser commas and shorter lines, i get you. But my stanzas i dunno where they are, I should have put periods or something. Hey YWS!?
