I freaking love this!!!!!!!!!
this expressis how i am
i will forever more remember this poem
it is epic and totaly awesome
Thank you!
Well, its very expressive. It conveys strong emotion, and the basic plot is clear: Hope in the midst of turmoil. A few more details, not so many that they take away the mystery, but a few more details would be nice. Overall, it leaves us with more questions than answers, and in my opinion, that sometimes is the best kind of poem.
Thank you! I'll look into adding more details!
I like this piece a lot, and the way It describes music, not just as an art, but as something that helps take away the sender king of heartache, like a painkiller, my advice on improvement is limited, but make it a bit clearer the role "me" is playing, a friend, an invisible, what?
Thanks! I'll try and make it clearer!
I thought the word choice could have been a little more varied. "So my darling..." and "And...away" were inconsistently repeated, and that gave me a little pause as I was reading it. But maybe that's what you were trying to do, make the reader look for a pattern...
I would also have changed "You put a strong front up" to "You put up a strong front". It makes the line feel a lot more active.
Otherwise, nice poem.
thanks! I'll look into your suggestions!
