E - Everyone

In While I'm gone...

It's all falling apart,
Piece by piece.
What do we salvage first:
Our love or our inner peace?

Our bodies are aching;
Quitting is tempting,
Waiting
Behind the corner of the wall
Breaking.
Is it me shaking?
Or is the whole world?

I am...

I like this alot. It expresses the problems of life in a simple but meaningful way. It is a very open and explicit sort of poem because you let your feelings into it.

I think that this poem has many strengths. i also think it hass a weakness, one that i cant quite pin point, but its there. I think that instead of saying "Our bodies are breaking" you should say that they're aching. So you dont keep repeating the same word, in this case "breaking".

Other than that, i think you did a fantastic job:)

Excellent suggestion! Thank you!

Short sweet, and to the point.
Very nice =3

I like shorter poems because they are easily remembered,
and pressure the author to convey more with less.
That said, you did this very well =D .

"Our bodies are breaking;
Quitting is tempting,
Waiting
Behind the corner of the wall
Breaking.
Is it me shaking?
Or is the whole world?"

this stanza here bugs me a bit, but only at the end.
Why not end it with or is the whole world quaking? or something equivalent. =3

Other then that, its a perfect little gem.
Hope it helped

Sincerely LosCadaver.

I like the message of what indecision, uncertainty, and stress in general can do to people. I also like the subtle, rhythmic rhyme scheme. And the length. like RainGrae said, short and sweet! Very clear and not too confusing with too many metaphors and similes. I'm no good at structured poetry. I use either too much or too little of... well, everything! This is great. Keep up the good work!

This is really cool...I especially liked the line 'quitting is tempting'. And also the ones at the end 'Is it me shaking?/Or is the whole world?'
Very nice.

You walk into this room at your own risk, because it leads to the future, not a future that will be but one that might be. This is not a new world, it is simply an extension of what began in the old one. It has patterned itself after every dictator who has ever planted the ripping imprint of a boot on the pages of history since the beginning of time. It has refinements, technological advances, and a more sophisticated approach to the destruction of human freedom. But like every one of the super states that preceded it, it has one iron rule: logic is an enemy and truth is a menace.
