Love is what I think of when you cross my mind, which is always. Love blossoms in my heart when I look at you.
To say it simply…love is what I feel for you.

I just dropped by cuz i've been dying to review an essay!
The entirety of this essay was nicely done, you have stated love in your own understanding. Its good that you've made a sort of imagery in the definition of love. Construction was okay as well.
I will just suggest a few things... i saw the parallelsm you're doing with starting every sentence with 'Love is...' In honesty, it would get a bit boring to read if the whole thing started and ended in 'love is...' you could use those creative juices to alter and bend the essay but still make it look like the same thing with its message.
Your title was, of course eye catching because it was in Latin, a popular one. There was just an immediate error there. Your title was the direct translation of the quote. There are also grammar rules in Latin but i will not elaborate on that anymore. It's supposed to be "omnia vincit amor."
Another thing is that you would like to see the alternate definition of omnia vincit amor as stated in "The Rule of four" by Ian Caldwell and Dustin Thomason where their character makes an interpretation of the quote through a medieval painting by the same name. just a suggestion.

Hello there! I really like this idea, but there's just a few things that I want to mention about some of the things that you brought up.
This is just my opinion, but I don't think adding 'not filthy' in there really does much for this. Of course it's your choice though.
Actually, love is extremely complicated, and there are quite a few times where love has been forced. Arranged marriages for instance... In cultures where it is still popular to designate a partner for your child, the arranged couples often do end up loving each other.
Once again, love is extremely complicated, and I'm not sure that I'd want someone to love my flaws, you know? My flaws aren't something to love, they're something that I'm trying to get rid of (I'm not talking about appearance). What I'm trying to say is: you can still love someone to the moon and back even if there's a few things you're not so fond of about them- and if that was what you were trying to say, good! But if you're saying that you have to love the whole person and everything that they entail, I disagree.
I really like this line, because it's completely true! ^_^
I'm actually not really fond of this. Love is knowing that three in the morning is not the best time to phone your sweetie- let's be practical. However yes: if your mom just died and you were beside yourself from grief, three in the morning indeed turns into the perfect time to call your sweetie.
All I'm saying is: Love is not always peaches and rainbows, and is freak'n complicated.
But I did love what you were saying, because love is a beautiful, wonderful, amazing, unpredictable thing! I also really thought the ending was great. :3

I want to take a really quick moment for the review. To make a quick response the "not filthy" is just word choice, as far as "forced" goes I mean the feeling not so much the action or marriage, forced marriages, are something like what a teacher of mine said about arranged marriages "learning to love someone."I did include a line in my rough draft where I said "love is complicated" but I took it out because it didn't really flow well. The "flaws an imperfections" line is more meant to say that you accept those flaws and love the person despite them. The phone call is much like what you said and I meant the "not able to sleep" to be something like problems keeping you awake, needing to talk, something like that. Again, thanks for the review and I plan on uploading a story soon called "Letters to an Old Friend". I copied the title off of a marina city song, they're a great band by the way.
Okay, good to know.
And I'll check out that band. XD
