To keep throughout the day

That had different types of sweets.
When he gave me the big heart-shaped box, I could feel the sky spinning around me
My heart dancing, prancing, and taking a leap on its own
Only to realize it was just on Valentine's Day.
It was just a box of chocolates
That I stored away, all its contents eaten, led astray
It was just a box of chocolates
Where I remembered his warm aura around me, when his arms entrapped me
I could hear his heart beat twice as much as mine.
It was just a box of chocolates
That I had already put away
Peeking out in the corner of my closet, glaring into my soul, something that I don't think I'll ever be able to control.
It was just a box of chocolates
To remember the days when he was around, smiling and laughing
To remember the school days where we ended with hugging.

To keep me from thinking astray

To try not to remember the day
When he faded away.

At first, I thought that it will end happily. Valentine's day's all about love. The idea of yours? It's "goodness gracious!"
The whole piece was really romantic and sweet. I can feel the romantic air in here. While I'm reading your piece, it takes time for me to create a story on my mind because I know that there is a different meaning behind these lines besides love.
At the end of your work, my reaction was like, "Woah." A sad ending though, still romantic. She's a loyal lover. Even if he died, she keeps on making herself fall in love with the same man. I can feel on your poem that the girl really loves the boy. There are only few people here on Earth that's like her. Many were changing. For some, you don't even wanna talk to somebody unless you have some favors or something. It's hard for us, you know. This is different. I can bear the loyalty of this lady. I remember I was of your age when i started writing and initially wrote something like this. A romantic poem which ended up in tears.

reminds me of the line from the movie 'forest Gump' where is said that 'Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get'.
