Mine is the blessed cross upon
Which my Saviour hung
Sin’s curse bore God’s dreaded wrath
All my doom undone.
Precious Jesus my loving Lord
He was dead but behold He lives
Eternal grace we can’t afford
But out of His love He freely gives.
The blood of Jesus cleanses me
Purifies me deep within
I invite you all to come and see
The precious drops that heal from sin.
No other name but that Name
That deserves the highest praise
Raises the dead and heals the lame
The only Name that can save.
The Lamb of God who takes our pain
Our wickedness and our shame
So that we through Him might gain
A refuge in that glorious Name.
Jesus comes to us this day
With power, He brings
Whatever life may throw our way
There is healing in His wings.
When we view His glorious light
This world will grow very dim
Awesome God, in power and might
Would have us turn and follow Him.

Hello, TheRobster1991. This was so beautiful! I am so excited and glad that there are some more poems about God on here. I really enjoyed reading this and thought it was amazing! I could go on but I don't think there's much left to say here. It really glorifies God and tells about his grace and love. Thank you so much for writing this! I hope to read more from you in the future! Keep writing and never get discouraged!

sounds like something that has come straight from the bible. I am not big on the whole religion thing, I stay to myself on that. Due to people having their own opinions, I am rambling. I loved the poem, it is well written and it speaks volumes about Jesus Christ and what he did for us so we can live like we do now.
keep up the good work.
Thanks, my inspirations were mainly the old hymns with the styles they do. But thank you!
