In Dear Love

PreviousNext

Blank wall,

with the black scribbling of lovers.

Story’s:

nights in the rain,

laughter coming in whispers.

The feeling comes back:

the first time you kissed me,

the first time you touched me,

The room of memory’s.

We’re covered in paint,

I love you is written on my arm.

A crib in the corner:

music note mobile,

3 months to go.

Piano waiting to be played.

This is our life that I see,

If only you could see it to.

I'm sort of lost as to what you're trying to tell the reader in this poem. I know you are describing memories in the first parts but then towards the end about the piano, it threw me off. What is the significance of the piano? Maybe you can describe that a little more in the poem to give it more importance :) But other than that, it was a cute Poem! And don't use numbers in a poem. Instead of 3 use the actual word, "Three." It's a formal thing :) Keep writing!

Really well written with just the right ammount of imagery. It's structure is intresting, and while I may not favor it, it is admirable that you kept to it, rather that leaving with no structure. The idea you are trying to express is hard to find though. I would suggest trying to make it more clear. Oveall, well written! :)

All truly wise thoughts have been thought already thousands of times; but to make them truly ours, we must think them over again honestly, till they take root in our personal experience.
