The Love Of Love

When life as opening buds is sweet,
They bade farwell, but neither spoke of love.
Out of the way, in a corner
We were very tired, we were very merry --
If by dull rhymes our English must be chain'd,
Linger, a little, where the gentle moon

I feel like this is more about a relationship that ran its course until it was a mutual departure? I don't know if i'm correct. As for the reference to Shakespeare I think you should make the connection a little bit clearer, this is a great start, a great base. but it needs just a little bit more...Emotion? or Imagery. Something that would clearly show the point of it?? That sounds harsh but I don't know how else to word it. Its great, it just needs a little more.

To start I would like to point out that you seem generally depressed. You may want to add some more clarification to your poem, as it left me rather confused. I mean to say that the meaning is unclear. Are you listing the things that make you happy, sad, or confused. I see you are still new to the descriptive qualities of poetry as I did not find much in the way of detailed description. The first two lines seem to speak of youth while the third and fourth put forth a scenario. It begins to fall into obscurity at line five. I was simply wondering if you had been trying to be vague or if it were an accident. It is a lovely poem though.
