No more weeping,
No more fearing.
The time of strife has stopped this midnight,
The constant rain and clanking of hail,
Gone.
Replaced by the soft snow,
Enjoy.
Rest easy within it,
Numb the bruises,
the bleeding,
Forget their jagged meanings.
The tyrant is dead.
Killed by a voiced blade,
Voiced, by those next to you.
It pierced its heart,
Lifting it to a world beyond.
New rulers will surely come,
Voted on by a republic that lifts you on.
The very soil,
Snow,
And grass,
The roots of your life now,
as the other,
Abused by hands not deserving of her,
She's gone now.
But this day is not for regret,
But remembrance,
And at it all,
Relief.
For this plague, this war, these years,
Have all ended.
There may be many more.
But,
This night,
Among the sirens and glows of your saviors,
You are here,
You are free.

Wow! may I just say that this is possibly one of the best poems I have ever read! The formatting is a little off though. I would mess around with it and try splitting the stanzas up in different ways to see what looks good. Also, I would pay very close attention to your punctuation. Sometimes there are unnecessary periods you put in that create awkward pauses. Try not to place commas after almost every line, It is ok to just end a line without any punctuation and just keep going. The punctuation kind of messes up the flow of the poem, but once that is addressed, I believe that this poem can be absolutely fantastic! Keep writing!

Thank you, both for your review and comments, I appreciate it.
Wow,
you really summed up the struggles of life in a clear cut, awesome way.
I envisage a tyrant as someone who does not fit in; you know, doesn't adhere to the constructed social normality in society or something like that. That's what I got from this. Someone getting through the rough and making it, or I guess there could of been a negative spin on it to; like having enough and just committing suicide. Very tragic.
Anyway, lovely layout, and the font really matched with the mood.
Not much else to say apart from that. Good work.
Legy.
