Talking to the Wall: In Memory of Trayvon Martin

by MorningStar

An egg cracked on the cement,
Before it could hatch;
Justice! we screamed to the wind;
No One wanted to hear.

We marched with shadowed faces,
Snacks held above our heads,
But No One fears those weapons;
Justice! we screamed to the wind.

This is brilliant. So much thought in such a few words, I feel it is a good tribute. I just am amazed by how much you are involved in political issues. It's impressive, and something more people should try to do (be involved).
Good respects. I'm concerned with this issue myself. Especially as the more and more facts are being released to the public.

I know how you feel. This is just so outrageous. I'm offended by the whole thing. I just wish that Zimmerman could be put behind bars and that racism could be eradicated once and for all.

If I'm going to burn, it might as well be bright.
