Lifewar

To the hurting, sick, and dying
On the inside and the out
In your heart, in your soul
From the lies and from the doubt
Do you believe in love?
Has your faith in God died?
Do you block everyone out?
Do nothing you abide?

Where, wounded people,
Will you find salvation?
In music, in others?
In the Lord of creation?

I'm not spreading a religious message
Nor one of peace to end the war
I'm telling you, the enemies have guns
They'll shoot, so hit the floor.

And if you've dodged the bullet
Why give up the fight?
If wounded and only hurt
Why give up your life?

Why risk all that you have
To solve what isn't wrong
You'll find that it was right
And it was fine all along.

Cry, Babies, cry
Scream, Haters, scream
Love, Lovers, love.
Dream, People, dream.

A brighter tomorrow
Starts with a lightbulb today
And a light in this darkness
Keeps the ghosts at bay.

Be more like the children
Hate less, love more
Feel the rain
Unharmed, hit the floor
