I'm the color of the sky
When those stars left the sky
When they found someone better.

I'm the color of the sea
Which would smile
At the sinking ships
And drop the pirates
On the sirens' dinner table.

And I'm just the saddest shade of
BLUE-

(They say blue is sad,
But sad is blue.)

Hello! This is a really nice poem with lots of interesting metaphors and similes. Each line flows sweetly into the next, and the rhythm is lyrical.

I'm the color of the sea
Which would smile
At the sinking ships
And drop the pirates
On the sirens' dinner table.

Ooh, this is a great stanza. Fantastic use of imagery. It uses the cruelty of the ocean to effectively express what sadness can turn into if it's not dealt with healthily.

I'm the color of the sky
When those stars left the sky

You repeat the word "the sky" twice which makes it a little awkward to read. If you cut the second "sky", you can replace it with another metaphor so it feels fresh.

Hi! This is a really interesting poem. The metaphor is very strong, and I love the fact you build up some mythology around it!

I'm the color of the sky
When those stars left the sky
When they found someone better.

I think repeating sky twice is unnecessary, and finding a new word/image here could elevate this first stanza. It's definitely the thinnest stanza in terms of the theme, and I think delving into a metaphor the same way you do in the next stanza would improve the poem!

I'm the color of the sea
Which would smile
At the sinking ships
And drop the pirates
On the sirens' dinner table.

I really love the image presented here. It's not a passive sadness, but almost like a cruel and gleeful one. It's definitely the best part of the poem.

And I'm just the saddest shade of
BLUE-

(They say blue is sad,
But sad is blue.)

I kind of think the bit in parentheses is unnecessary. You finish strongly with BLUE- and explaining it again just takes away that last punch.
