Part VII
What it feels like to be a god.
The wide bedspread is warm and cool at the same time somehow. I feel the smallest bit horny, but not enough to do something about it. The maroon bed sheets rub against my skin, I don’t want to get up. I may not want to move but regardless, I am now awake. I open my eyes a little wider to see my room a little clearer. It's been weird, the other bodily god known as the muscle god has been gone for almost a year now, somehow I am still not used to just having all the servants being my only company. I wish I could really know who he was, the bone god I mean… the whole reason that the muscle god went down to earth was to find the god of bone altogether, but now I am alone. I move a little, my brain has gotten back to working again. Time to get ready.
Me being the god of blood I have meetings with the other gods regularly, so I need to get ready to go. It's a hassle, going into the bathroom to put on all of my makeup, tie my hair into a ponytail, and the most annoying last… strapping on all of the armor I have to wear; it's kind of like the uniform of us gods. See the thing is though that not all of us are made the same, we have the demigods: not being really any stronger than a human, unless given proper training and unlocked potential. Gods: I am one of these, we are extremely powerful and specialize in whatever we are god of. I, being god of blood, have lots of abilities tied to that. But last we have: Creators… these are also gods, BUT with power beyond that of normal gods; they also are responsible for the creation of the earth. One of these for example is the god of bone, the sort of leader of the bodily gods, and then there are categories and blah blah blah, boring stuff. But I have to keep it in mind as I go to meet up with the others.
After I get my shit on I slide out of my tired exterior and fit on my cold, clean one. I look beautiful, then again most gods do. I step out of the room that I sleep in into the immense mansion that us god legions are assigned to. The floor is a sleek red wood, it LOOKS like blood as this is my part of the ‘house’. The walls have weird paintings, I never really cared to pay attention to them if I am being honest. I walk past rooms and halls, and down stairs. After I make it through the maze that took way too long to memorize, I get down to the bottom floor, I flip on some music using my phone, and start making breakfast.
I always hated having servants and made that very clear when I first arrived here after all of my training, so I make breakfast for myself. We also have most of the stuff humans have as we can easily copy any of the shit they make on that broken ball of dirt. But making breakfast my mind shifts from thinking about how convenient it is to have something that can play music without any effort, to the god of bone. I never met him, nor had Z. apparently he had been gone for a long time.
see god's work this way, when one dies they are reborn within the population of demigods. Most gods can live for about 20,000 years, but creators on the other hand HAVE to be killed to die. I know that he never was killed, so he must be on earth. I wonder what he did sometimes, I wonder if he will come back of his free will. I wonder about him a hell of a lot actually, I heard that it was a guy which gave me the first flutter in my chest I think I had ever had. Not to mention the fact that he was our Creator for our legion, so he was more than a little important.
I chew absently on some eggs, and sip my orange juice. Z always loved eating omelets.

This chapter gives more information on the lore, and atmosphere of the world while still focusing on the aspects of Cooper's life. Although this chapter is on it's own, different from the previous 6 chapters which were together. Chapter 7 seems to be seperated, which might signify time passing. A great continue to the story!
Hello there! This new chapter is interesting. The setup with the main character's thoughts is very insightful and fascinating. It explains the hierarchy very well, as well as little details with the armor/uniform and demigods. I'm looking forward to seeing how you expand on this further, as well as how the different levels of gods interact with each other and Earth.
The main character seems pessimistic and tired, which honestly I can relate to. Being a god seems like a lot of work, and I can't imagine the burden that would be!
One thing I'm interested in is how all the lower-level gods seem to be elements of the human body: Bone, Muscle, Blood. I'm looking forward to seeing how their corresponding abilities play out. For example, they could combine into one body, where the muscle attaches to the bone and the blood flows into the circulatory system. Or they could control the individual parts of the human body, like how the heart pumps or the muscles react to stimuli.
Overall, great start! I'm really excited to see what you come up with in the future!
Hi there! I haven't read your previous chapters so i'll do the best to ensure that doesn't affect my review of this one
This chapter does a good job of building up the world of the gods, providing a clear explanation of the hierarchy of the gods and their abilities. The distinction between demigods, gods, and Creators is well explained and provides a clear framework for understanding the world. This really helped me understand the story more without having read any other parts. You do a great job of setting the scene and creating a really immersive experience for anyone who reads this. The detail and attention to the different elements of the gods' lifestyle, such as their clothing, mansion, and what they like for breakfast really add a sense of depth and realism to the world.
The god of blood's introspective thoughts on the god of bone add another personal touch to the chapter and help make the reader curious about the story of this missing god. The mention of the god of bone potentially being a male and causing the first flutter in the god of blood's chest is a subtle yet intriguing touch.
A strength of this chapter is the narrator's introspective thoughts on their position as a god and the others gods such as the bone god. This gives a personal touch to the otherwise elusive and distant world of the gods and adds an emotional element to the story.
Overall, this chapter provides a nice captivating look into the life of the god and leaves the readers eager to read more. The world-building is both rich and detailed, and the personal thoughts of the god add a good unique and captivating touch.
