"The Hallucinating Loner"

PreviousNext

Its another Lonely Night!

Another pathetic night to fear!

Time to hear same uncanny voices that never felt right!

Saying words I will never hear!

Another night to see creepy shadows coming out of the dark!

Stretching their hands like scavengers waiting to devour my being!

My pounding heart waiting to feel another crack!

I feel death and forces that are unseen!

For me the Moon cries and wants to Pray!

I know the Sun can't wait any longer to take my miserable pain away!

Sitting in my favorite dark corner,no one to tell me what to believe!

And waiting patiently on Sunlight, my Pain Relieve!

Hi, @Ken95! I'm here for a quick review.
I love this poem. It's a beautifully created piece of writing. I don't know whether it's imagination or real, but I truly enjoyed reading this. It has an intriguing title and a wonderful word to read. It's unique in its own way, very different from poems we usually find reading. It uses lots of examination points and it echoes a beautiful story full of fear and hallucinating. The plot is very interesting and the way you describe this situation is amazing. I loved reading this poem and would love to read more of your writings!

Keep on writing!

Best wishes,
Chris

hey! here for a review.

though i do not want to conclude that whether its your imagination or real life experiences, I certainly enjoyed reading the piece. Its something different from the usual poetry we read. The plot was really nice and the way you described the horrifying situation was interesting. The element 'sun' played an important role in the overall piece and it gives the perfect ending to the poem.

I do not want to comment about any shortcomings or some tips because I don't whether its a real experience that haunts or something else.
Overall, a very nice set. felt amazing to read it.

hope to read more of you.
stay awaken,keep writing.

Thank you.. Just my imagination

Radrook here to offer some advice and general feedbac. Please note that I always try to be as tactful as possible. But if I offend you have my sincerest apologies. That having been said"

Thanks for sharing this poem expressing your feeling of being harassed by unseen forces. Since I am a Christian the only unseen forces that I am aware of that would find pleasure in harassing a human beringes are fallen angels or demons. However, before we jump to conclusions that what appear to be voices and other types odf sensory percoeptions are demons, we should take seriously into consideration that the human brain itself can cause a person to experience sense inmpressionssuch as noices, voices, touches, smells, tastes, without the aid of any outside stimulous.

In such cases medicaton can prove very useful.

Hallucinations

What Causes Hallucinations?

Schizophrenia . More than 70% of people with this illness get visual hallucinations, and 60%-90% hear voices. But some may also smell and taste things that aren't there.

Parkinson's disease . Up to half of people who have this condition sometimes see things that aren't there.

Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia . They cause changes in the brain that can bring on hallucinations. It may be more likely to happen when your disease is more advanced.

You walk into this room at your own risk, because it leads to the future, not a future that will be but one that might be. This is not a new world, it is simply an extension of what began in the old one. It has patterned itself after every dictator who has ever planted the ripping imprint of a boot on the pages of history since the beginning of time. It has refinements, technological advances, and a more sophisticated approach to the destruction of human freedom. But like every one of the super states that preceded it, it has one iron rule: logic is an enemy and truth is a menace.
