Father and son

This dialogue, as I would call, is pretty short and simple, but it is really meaningful at the same time... The topic you chose is really interesting and the ending made me smile as well... Good job, thanks for sharing.

It was short and to the point, a good quality in poems, usually. This is well written, though I found a simple typo, one that I honestly make all the time, you put 'staring at floor' instead of what I'm guessing was supposed to be 'staring at the floor'. Other than that, it was good, original, and well written.

I agree that longer would be better. Not necessarily a longer conversation, but if there was a bigger build up, or more description between the words, or what may have made the little boy ask these questions to begin with, or what the questions made the dad feel (maybe annoyance, or amusement, or whatever he might feel). This is a cool concept, but there's not enough to make any impact on the reader. The last line does relate well to the beginning, the fact that the man is just sitting, staring at the floor indicates he's going through something, and then he tells his son there's nothing you can do about things sometimes. That's the best part of this, I think, but I would like to see more, somehow.

Longer would be boring. Because talking with kids is just answering their "why?" for hours.

So true. i remember coming up with the question why are the female and male body parts are different. That was way back when i was four. Yes kids will get curious sometimes and it is best to nod them off from those things because they are too freaky to tell. My mom once gave me the talk about where babies come from all i can think about was "If i was a little younger, I would be freaked out that i was just in her uterus."
