Okay this was actually pretty funny. I do not like roaches as well because well, their roaches and their disgusting. I mean I love learning about animals and stuff like that, but it comes to a point where I just have to sit back and recollect myself from this strange living thing. (I just learned recently that there is such a thing called White cockroaches which is pretty insane).
Throughout the poem you mention how you hate roaches in the beginning(understandable). But then once we get to these lines the attitude shifts a bit:
''But I still hesitate to kill
It's just trying to survive''
We can see the narrator here clearly thinking about their actions on not trying to squash the roach. I mean, let's be honest. Bugs are like humans; they want to live and survive too. Poor little guys.
''But then again
It's already under my foot
Long gone
Trapping me in a frenzy again''
Then as soon as I thought the narrator would be like, 'Oh you sweet poor helpless roach, I will not squash you', I get hit with these lines. Which is freaking giving WTW (what the what). I mean, me too. If there was a roach anywhere near me in my own house then, I'll squash them. I won't do it though outside because, no.
I like this poem because it was very lightweight and something I can easily relate too, Good Job!

These are all afterthoughts after killing the vermin, I had no intention of sparing the life T__T
I like how the speaker is reflecting upon themself and seeing both viewpoints of the matter about roaches. I also absolutely hate roaches (although for the most part it's fear so I'd be too scared to kill them lol), and it's really cool how the speaker is thinking about how they want to kill them, but hesitate since it's only trying to live, but then it's just under their foot already (sorry if I'm restating a bunch of the things here lol) so there's not much else to be said. Since I'm not really much of an expert in poetry I won't try to do a 'deep dive' into each line, but one thing I did notice was that 'fascinate' was spelled wrong lol. I get it, it's a typo, tbh it happens to me all the time xD just wanted to let you know

Okay honestly I really like the self explanatory-but-profound thing that you have goin on in here!!
Don't really have much to review here honestly because it's great in and of itself, you seem pretty thoughtful about roaches, unless you look at it from a satirical point of view. In that case I see a whole different aspect to it honestly.
