Spoiler! :
Hey guy, wrote this about my boyfriend of five years. Enjoy!

Somewhere in this world,
Lay genuine untouched feelings.
Not yet broken by human folly ,
Or just simple tragedy.

Somewhere in this world
Is a genuine, broken man,
With a humble soul,
Shown through his eyes.

A smile that hates itself,
But brightens my day.
Inching its way into my heart;
My heart is where it has a home.

My arms are where
He will always belong.
Open to his problems.
Open to his perfection.

Open to him,
I am myself,
And will always be
Only open to him.

Aah, This was sweet poem. You've got great structure and flow in your stanzas and the beginning was very good, it's vivid and urges the reader to keep on going. I feel though, like it gets a bit plain towards the end, I'd spice it up a bit :)

Overall though, it was a really nice read with a good message!

4/5 icky, sticky spiders to you!

Good Luck & Keep Writing

This poem was a breath of fresh air. I adore the subject. You won't get any criticism from about the point of this poem or about what you were trying to say.

However, I think you could've used words that were a little more vibrant and that brought even more life into your poem. I think you did that very well in the first stanza, but I had a hard time finding it in the others. You have an absolutely amazing poem here, but I think it has the potential to go even further than it already has.

I love this poem!!!!

Keep writing!!!

Hey, nice poem. It's a nice change from all the poems about a guy breaking a girl's heart :P
I understood what you were talking about, good descriptions. Don't forget to have capital letters at the start of every line.
Maybe next time challenge yourself a little bit more. Make it a bit more magical, a bit more out there. Put more imagery into the reader's head, make them know the person you're talking about. Of course, these are all just ideas, so feel free to ignore them completely. I really liked it ^_^

I really enjoyed reading this piece! You convey a good sense of emotion with your strong verb choice, and powerful imagery. Not much criticism I can offer. Keep up the good writing! :D

I only know that learning to believe in the power of my own words has been the most freeing experience of my life. It has brought me the most light. And isn't that what a poem is? A lantern glowing in the dark.
