Chapter 2
King Dalas looked very positive, his yellow eyes shimmered a gold shade. Neither Cynthia nor King Dalas spoke, it all felt tranquil until King Dalas made a sudden outburst.
"Oh no!" He screamed. "I forgot my cape back at the tree house, sorry, but I need it. Could you come with me back to the tree house?"
Cynthia needed time to think about this, a tree house? 'Oh what the world has come to' she thought. Although King Dalas wasn't known to be impatient, he really needed a quick answer.
"Fine, fine, where else could I possibly be going," Cynthia responded.
"Ah, perfect, come along then," he said.
They both turned the other way and started walking toward where Cynthia lost Tony. The forest was very eerie, with all the unexpected surprises. Not to think that you would find a talking cat who basically stole your cat. Ridiculous, eh?
King Dalas was running near the end of the walk, always muttering under his breath,
"Must find the cape, must find the cape!"
They finally go there. King Dalas knew where to go so was racing ahead, leaving poor Cynthia behind.
"This way, this way!" He cried, hurling behind the bush. This bush was very large, and Cynthia followed slowly, not expecting what she was about to see.
Behind the bush there was a very long rope ladder; King Dalas was running up it. Cynthia climbed up it slowly, but King Dalas kept on telling her to hurry. As she tried to pick up her pace, she dropped her book and almost dropped her shoe! When she was near the top she was eager to find out what was waiting for her...
"Welcome to my tree house!" King Dalas shouted, at the top of his voice. Cynthia was shocked for words; this was the biggest tree house she had ever seen. It was practically a house, there was a velvet red carpet spread out on the floor. Two chandeliers were hung on the ceiling. One small, polka dot yellow and pink armchair was placed near the corner and there was a huge poker table in the middle. What a life!
Cynthia forgot about King Dalas and walked over to another door. She opened it curiously, and as she took her first step, she could feel she broke something. It made a crunching noise. She looked down to see what it was, a small piece of cat food. She could tell as she owned a cat. She looked ahead to see a very low but long table. On the table lined up neatly were nine food bowls and nine water bowls. Each bowl had a name neatly printed onto it: Tupa, Gupa, Leo, Sylvester, Pushka, Yasmina, The Kittens, Gibby, and at the head of the table, King Dalas. Cynthia moved back to the previous room, and opened another door.
This one really stank, it was very small, and was what seemed to be litter boxes. Five of them, Cynthia couldn't stand the smell so got out of that room as soon as possible.
The final door was opened, and this one was nicer. There were nine beds, and again the same names were printed on. Of course King Dalas had a double bed. The beds consisted of one small blanket, one small pillow, and a small basket at the foot.
Cynthia was amazed at the whole place, and then remembered about King Dalas. As she was making her way back to the first room she entered, she saw an elderly cat sitting on the armchair. She, very wisely, assumed it was one of the cats King Dalas was talking about earlier.
"Excuse me, what might your name be?" She asked, very softly.
"I am Sylvester, what are you doing here?" He asked, angrily. Cynthia looked scared.
"Well Dalas told me to come with him," she replied.
"I see, and remember that's King Dalas. He's in the bedroom," Sylvester said, not so angry anymore.
Cynthia walked over to the bedroom, where King Dalas made another sudden outburst.
"It's gone, the cape is gone!" King Dalas screamed. Sylvester walked in, looking very disappointed.
"It's gone, that's the only thing that proves you King!" Sylvester cried. Cynthia thought the crown was the thing that proved he was King, but thought it would be smart not to talk at the moment.
"Don't worry I'll look for it, and I'll take the girl with me!" Dalas screamed. Cynthia was upset that King Dalas hadn't learnt her name. But where was he taking her?

I love the cats mellow personality, it really adds to the story! I think overall this is a good story and deserving of praise. PM me when you write the next chapter.
Ciao,

Hay sweetie. Sorry I didn't come earlier, for some reason I couldn't find the link to this story. :O
Anyway...
This was a very good chapter. I did enjoy it. I was not once confused, and not once did I question what you were talking about, as I had in the first chapter. It was quite clear. A few things that interested me, though...
Slyvester is disappointed that King Dalas lost his cape. If I were Slyvester, I'd be more than disappointed. I'd be furious that someone had took it, or very upset. But I don't know Slyvester's personality, so perhaps he was only disappointed.
Next: if I were you, I'd be scared about going to look for this King Dalas' cape. What about my cat? I'd think. Perhaps, if it her personality, as it seems to be, she can even voice her thought to the King.
You also made it very sudden that the king lost his cape. Perhaps give it a little more time. Have them walk for a while, then have him say, "My cape!" and freak out, then dash away without acknowledging Cynthia.
Remember this is your story. Do whatever you like with it. You don't have to take any of my suggestions, but I want to give you a guideline.
I'll love to review your stories anytime. PM me. :}
Love & Blessings,
