I'm not a great artist, but I tried my hand this summer. I had to do water colours in highschool but I actually just discovered how you blend colours in it this year. That was certainly my favourite highlight! When the flow of poetry hit a dead end, I turned to art thanks to @Ravena's advice. Nature, birds and animals were my go-to this time. I certainly don't regret it, I had a great time making these paintings! I've seen some of you do these art posts and I had always wanted to do it, even though these come nowhere near it. As I looking through these pieces on my vacation back from college, I thought to share these with you guys.

Also, I learnt more about body ratio and how to start sketches. (Bonus if you can guess if it's a deer or a hare because apparently I'm real bad at sketching, (spare me it was my first try lol half my family interpreted it wrong XD)

I feel it'd be fun to include some of my colouring book works! The first one is completely drawn though, which led me to the colouring book in the first place. So an old tutor of mine- she's more like a big sister, was back home for a few days. I was showing her these artworks when she offered me her colouring book, saying she doesn't have time for it anymore. I am nowhere near as good as her but I humbly accepted and am trying to do it justice ever since. This is the story of how I really acquired it! I did have to go shopping for colored pens though, my highschool projects had completely exhausted my art supplies. Most these projects are incomplete though, I just can't bring myself to complete the final doodles.

This artwork is very good. Besides the kaleidoscope, did you use coloring pages for it or did you draw it yourself? My favorite picture is the one of the hummingbird. The fox is very cute too, though. I admire how beautiful the waterfall picture is because I love it that you used all those different shades of blue.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the review! :D
Yes, those are pages from a coloring book. I didn't draw them myself. The hummingbird is certainly a neat favourite to have! The colours of the water, I love that you point it out. Thank you for your time, I hope these paintings were worth it.

Hello there, human! I'm reviewing using the YWS S'more Method today!

Shalt we commence with the jinxed S’more?

Top Graham Cracker - Here is a collection of art that you made over the summer, all different, but still shining all the same! They are of the wildlife, of nature’s beautiful, ethereal moments, caught in simple pages.

Slightly Burnt Marshmallow - No recommendations!

Chocolate Bar - The drawing is a deer, I can see quite clearly. I like the humming bird and the beach scene, that looks very nice and cutesy. I also like the coloring book pages, they are like psychedelic images from a kaleidoscope. Doing art in the summer is one of the best feelings ever fr.

Closing Graham Cracker - Overall, I enjoyed seeing your art! If you ever plan on posting more art, then I will be sure to look at it!

I wish you a lovely day/night! ^v^

Okay this is not as easy as the 2min reading time suggests xd Hi, you get priority bc of the review contest. So. Let’s uhm, review some paintings I guess. I have my old deviant art “skills” lying around somewhere!

I really like the way you made the backgrounds look. The front is always a bit too simplistic for my liking but man, I love how the colours flow together in the skies of your paintings~

One of my favs is the sunset/rise with the mountains. I just like the entire composition.

I also like the fox, the pose is very very cute!

I am very confident in saying that this is a deer! I can tell from the eyes! [lmk that I’m right! xd]

Oh and I love colouring books. I just never take the time to do them. It looked like you had fun, was it rly zen-like?

Hope this counts as an adequate review. [This was just the oldest of your 0 review works I found so… That’s why I’m here :3]

Thanks for the warm review, Tikaya! =)
The blending backgrounds were definitely my source pf pride as well. The sunset one was my personal favourite as well and the fox pose definitely caught my attention.
Wow, I love thr confidence! You certainly don't need the confirmation but I'll give one anyways- it is indeed a deer.
About the colouring books, I get ya. I couldn't get myself to do more pages after these myself.
Thanks again for making my day. Really appreciate all the hearty compliments

I feel like your art is literally better than mine. The cascading waterfall is SO pretty!!! Omgggg gimme tips it looks like it’s crustal and glowing! It’s my fav and tfgblending sky with the palm teee is so tropical and nice! You are great at drawing. KEEP POSTING.

Shut up CATS, you're such a professional compared to me. But speaking of the waterfall, I used a sponge for the water hitting the lake. The vertical stream was just some light blue which I later blended with plain water to make it fade. The palm tree one is my personal favourite, it was actually the first time I tired blending watercolors! Honestly, I thought I had messed it up real bad. Thank god I chose to trust the process

Yes! Trust the process is a famous saying that we all need to follow XD
Not a professional, just working on my art skills :)
It%u2019s so cool tho! I love your style of watercolour! Speaking of that...I should post more...
But is stunning and I LOVE it!
