Wrote a scene today where the antagonist feels some feelings. It def needs some work, but it's nice to see what the idea I had for this scene and character arc looks like on paper.
Wow, a scene I thought would be fairly short suddenly got deep and emotional and developed the story in a really good way. Which explains the high word count for today
Think I finished a round of the Crawl for the Motivationally Challenged today for the first time this NaNo. Previously I wouldn't carry over my crawl over multiple days of writing, but this time I did and I finished it, which felt pretty neat.
Also, I've achieved my weekly goal which was to get the month's wordcount to 15,000. I'll be travelling tomorrow, so probably won't get any writing done until I'm settled at home again. But I'm eager to work on this again
In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of
worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to
eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort. — JRR Tolkien
