Hello everyone! I saw the advertisements for this roleplay, and I am interested in becoming a lifeguard. I need some time to read through the rp and ooc threads. If you need me to write a short post today, I will (it’s been awhile since I did LSS) I can also do that!

Hey @Valkyria!! Yay! Thank you SO much for your interest! I apologize because I am traveling and sooooooo busy but here are a few things you should know about our RP!!
1- we are trying to do it poetry format, which normally just means organizing your lines into verses. But you totally don’t have to do this if you don’t want to. We are open to any formats of creativity here!
2- Okay- so a quick summary of our RP. It is set in a fairytale world called the Grimm Kingdom. There is the narrator (me) who announced this prophecy. Our 5 character must find these magical objects and bring them to the top of the mountain in a month in order to save the world. So it is very independent. We are all telling our own stories and there’s hasn’t been a lot of interaction, besides a little bit of collab work I believe. SO there are two options for you 1) you join with your own independent character. I would do a narrator post announcing that you are now included in the prophecy. 2) Hou could join Inferno, our member who is a ghost, in her storyline. The two of you could collaborate and you would just be the one to post every time. Oh and actually the third option XD 3) you join as a character this quest is to find all of us and bring us to the mountain. Again if make a narrator post for this.
3) if you choose the first, just PM me your characters name, a magical object they must find, and what story your tale is based off of. If you are very eager, submit your character and you can totally post as soon as I approve that- since I am too busy to get a narrator post in this week. If you want the second option, please check with @Inferno before of course.
We are so grateful for your interest and would absolutely love to have you
Who's to say that my light is better than your darkness? Who's to say death is better than your darkness? Who am I to say?
Hi everyone, I'm so sorry, but I don't think I can write 2000 words in time. It's almost 1 am where I am, and if I stay up until 1 to write 2000 words, I probably will fall asleep at three from screen time and stress, and I'm not even sure if I can write that much. I know everyone is super busy and probably won't be able to post in this next hour, so we're probably going to a lifeboat next week. Again, I'm really sorry everyone. I will post what I have written, but it's not much.
One of the few tips of LSS you don't hear too often is to know when you just can't make it that week and take the break you need <33 LSS is ultimately about fun, when it reaches a point where you just going for words and feeling stressed its always okay to stop <33
I'm sure you guys will do amazing if you go for a lifeboat!

Hello! You? Yes you reading this. Have a nice day because you're wonderful and you deserve it!
Thank you, @EllieMae! Inferno and I agreed to collaborate together, so I will post our work. We probably won't be able to write to the word limit, but I'm still excited to be a part of this!

We are on the brink of becoming a pirate ship if we don't write 4000 words this week. I'm willing to go for it, what about you guys? You feel up for it, or nah?
If we do this we're back to 2500 each week!
I was thinking of making a little log (excel) for our RP to keep track of how much everyone can write/ has to write yet/ who can't write which week. I think it's easier to keep track how much we need to write still. What do you guys think?
Yes let’s go for it, for sure! I will still be in New Zealand this entire week so finding time to write at all will be a massive struggle but I will try my best!
Also last week I got so busy and barely had time to update the ship log. Would someone be willing to step in this week as a temporary captain to update that on Sunday?
Who's to say that my light is better than your darkness? Who's to say death is better than your darkness? Who am I to say?
I'm heading back home tomorrow, so I'll see what I can get in this week with a hopefully fixed sleep schedule lol

YOU GOT THIS GUYS!!! i am cheering you on especially because i ADORE that you are taking on the first poetry rp!!! if you need support, wave a flag and i can send ya some crates titled "inspo"!
So sorry I didn't say this earlier, but I am going on a camping trip for the weekend and won't have any internet. I will try my best to get in some words, and I still will hopefully be able to log our words in time. Otherwise, good luck team! We got this!!
Hey team, on top of being in NZ I am also incredibly sick and can barely even sit up straight so I won’t be able to write anything this week. So sorry <33 I’ll be thinking of all of you and if we can make it through, I promise I’ll be a lot more active next week and following weeks!
Who's to say that my light is better than your darkness? Who's to say death is better than your darkness? Who am I to say?
Ahh I hope you get well soon, Ellie, and enjoy your camping trip, Ant!! Looks like you all are aiming for 4000 words-- you got this! >:3 If you'd like to try collabing (I've found it a great way to help me increase word count), or would just like a space to write, feel free to join this pad: https://spearmint.writerfeedpad.com/90 I wish you all the best!!
Hey Everyone! We need 1699 words more to make it to 4000. And we need them today yet. I hope you guys can get some in. Tagging some people, I knew would write yet: @Valkyria@LuminescentAnt @JazzElectroBass.
If not, it was nice sailing with you lots. ^^ Farewell then. I'll check in tmr to see if we made it. *fingers crossed*
Edit: We need 1675 words yet. One more thing, can you guys please update the log (excel) after writing, that way we can keep track easier.

I only know that learning to believe in the power of my own words has been the most freeing experience of my life. It has brought me the most light. And isn't that what a poem is? A lantern glowing in the dark. — Elizabeth Acevedo, The Poet X
