Hi, I was really hoping someone could review my novel chapters. I completely rewrote my chapter 1 from scratch and haven't really gotten any feedback on it since I reposted it a couple of weeks ago. This is a bit of a hybrid "semi-realistic" fantasy (oxymoron, I know...) set in our actual world but with your recommended dosage of magic, divinities, swordplay and whatnot. If it matters, the technological state of society would be the equivalent to where we were in around the 1500s.
