The September Review Day Review

So maybe you're wondering who really, officially won. You know, in terms of official YWS stats. And that's why Big Bro is here: to tell you who saved the day by using Schadenfreude the most.

Remember last time @Blackwood ?

I just remember seeing your name when it said there was 0 reveiws remaining on the bar

I'm ridiculously happy because I went to bed last night with only 27 reviews, a little upset that I wouldn't make my goal for today (35 and a new star), but I woke up because I couldn't keep myself asleep and blasted out what happened to be exactly eight more reviews.

Now I'm the proud new owner of a brand new red star~

I just feel proud of myself for managing to kick out so many reviews even with mean old @Blackwood getting me to ramble on about my novel an writing and love letters while I was supposed to be reviewing.

I'm also extremely proud of @ChangeTheWorld and myself, who decided to compromise on sharing tenth place and both doing 22 reviews.
And then when we realized the threat of our position being taken- we both fought out two more reviews even after declaring that we could not possibly do any more. (And, might I add, we kept our tenth place.)

I think this ended the best possible way with one team getting the most reviews and the other team getting the most points.

Wait, I was the first? o.o

...omg. I only did two reviews that were 100 points each, but now I see that it was SO CLOSE that my two reviews totally mattered. Had I not done those reviews, the Blues may have lost!

Yet another lesson to show that EVERY. REVIEW. COUNTS.
