Nadia

Nadia stared as the wolf mutant and the cat glared at each other. Nadia, still safe in Lilly's arms, felt Lilly stiffen and grow tense. Nadia squirmed in her arms till she set Nadia down on the ground.

Nadia felt her sharp claws come out of her fingers and her ears became tall and alive. She stood next to the wolf mutant and bared her sharp little teeth.

Nadia had no idea what she was doing but she felt she needed to protect Lilly after all she did for her. She spread her wings and flew quickly above the cat mutant fast enough do she couldn't see her. Nadia snuck up behind her and pounced digging her claws into her fur.

After 2 minutes of fighting and scraping, Nadia rolled off and walked back to the staring group, crossing her arms.

The cat mutant stared and slowly backed away. Nadia was happy that she protected the group. She was also terrified of what she had become.

Lilly

Lilly was so happy when Nadia had found them in the forest, she couldn't help but smile. Lilly had to admit she was a little taken back and offended at what Sara had said about smelling cat. But she brushed it off. And held Nadia tighter not wanting to ever let go.

Lilly soon found out that it wasn’t her Sara had been meaning the mutant that Nadia had just attacked. Nadia had never done that before, it shocked Lilly and Nadia both. What had she become? Lilly thought looking at the small girl. But she was thankful.

Lilly picked up Nadia, "Maybe you should be on you way?" She said standing tall. Lilly wasn't sure about this mutant. "I think it would be best." She looked down a Nadia nodding her head. Lilly stared at the mutant and to the human, who was looking right at Nadia with his hand still holding is gun. Lilly held Nadia closer. He won't hurt her right? Lilly wasn't so sure. She took a step to the side away from the other cat mutant. She held Nadia and moved behind the human and the wolf mutant. She closed her eyes...Please, don't hurt us..

Nadia

When they pointed the gun at Lilly and Nadia. Nadia couldn't help but to feel scared. She hid her face in Lilly's warm neck and let hot tears flow down her face.

Nadia looked up at the 2 strangers still staring at them and sobbed even harder. She was terrified with her self and couldn't take it any more.

"Go ahead, shoot me." Nadia said sliding out of Lilly's arms. "Shoot me, but don't hurt Lilly."

Her voice came out quiet and choked with tears or fear. She spread her arms wide and flattened her ears ageist her head. "GO AHEAD SHOOT ME!" She screamed falling into the dirt.

She sat there crying for a minute letting the mud seep into her pants. Lilly soon picked her up again and rocked her slowly back in forth.

Nadia felt Lilly's tears falling onto her neck as she start to walk. Lilly kept holding the small child till they had found a cave. Probably the one Nadia had been staying in earlier.

They sat holding each other and crying. Crying for each other. Crying for the Strangers the left in the woods. Crying for life. And they couldn't take much more of this.

Danny

Danny scampered through the streets of the outer-city. She skirted around the busy streets, keeping her aviator helmet and goggles pulled firmly down over her cheetah ears. Her heart raced each time somebody glanced at her, as if they could tell she wasn't human.

She had witnessed the Revolution progressing slowly over the course of her lifetime. At one point in time Danny would have been a fierce advocator for the mutants, but now she was approaching age thirty. The age where mutants were lucky to come within two years of. Now that the change of society was immanent she had no motivation to join the movement.

Danny laughed to herself and slid into a nearby alleyway. Then why was she in the city? To watch? To observe the others? She didn't know. She slid her goggles off for a moment to clear the condensation from their lenses. The world was changing and shifting around her and she felt the best, the only thing she could do was step back and watch life pass her by. Eventually it would leave her in the dust.

Her golden stare traveled upwards to the fire escape above her head. Danny clambered atop a nearby dumpster and nimbly pulled herself to the metal ladder. The sun was rising and human families were rising. Now it was safer to travel by rooftop. Danny leapt to the rooftop and pushed her goggles against her eyes. Sometimes when she ran at top speed they watered.

Sun rise was the perfect time to travel because the search lights were off and not many were out. Danny removed her shoes so she could use the friction, grip, and balance from her padded soles. A delicious smell wafted to Danny's nose...pastries? Breakfast.

Danny rooftop hopped until locating the origin of the delicious scent. A well gaurded house just outside the outskirts with a woman cooking in the kitchen. A tall boy wandered into the kitchen grabbing a pastry or two then conversed with the woman, who was probably his mother. Eventually she nodded and the boy made his way to a motor-scooter outside, just below Danny's hiding place.

A new scent found it's way to her keen nose. It was the boy's scent, human but yet... Curiosity brimmed from within Danny. This boy was hiding something. He was something that shouldn't be on this side of the wall.

She followed him. Running alongside him from atop the roofs while he scootered along. Danny gradually ran out of roofs and had to resort to camouflaging in the scenery. Where was he going?

Finally, the boy stopped just in front of the wall. Maybe he was going to where he belonged. Good. The revolutionaries won't be kind to anyone on this side of the wall. He was inspecting the mark on the wall and a blue bottle as she crept across to a bush that was closer to him. His scent...had he told anybody? With out warning she tripped over a root and tumbled into the bush.
Every book you've ever read is just a recombination of 26 letters.

Swiftfur sighed.
"Vengeance Moon is declaring a huge war on the race of humans for enslaving our kind."
She flattened her ears with defiance.
"My sister, Lily pool died a year ago from a bullet wound, and from then on, my opinion on humans has changed. Anyway, that's none of you're concern. My name is Swiftur."
She stuck out a hand for them to shake, then saw their faces and thought better of it
Glancing nervously at the wolf mutant, she asked, "What are your names?"
The tall human replied stiffly,"I'm Drew. This is my sister Sara, and this is Lily and Nadia."
He spun around to point them out, but they were gone.
I wondered what frightened the little one? Swiftfur thought.
She gazed down at her sleek black boots and fingered the tip of her bow.
"Look, if you want to stop the Revolution, were on the same side." She said
Sara looked at her in surprise and Drew raised his eyebrows at her.
"I know you don't trust me, but unless you want this, "Revolution" to go through, you would consider helping me."
Something squirmed in her satchel, and she took it off, opening the flap and taking out a small, half-grown cat. It was completely black except for a white patch on it's chest. The cat's golden eyes stared at Sara and Drew curiously.
"Meet Charm. She's the only friend I've had since I escaped from the forest."

*One thing. I think the Mutants should have a different name for themselves. The fact they even refer to themselves as Mutants is kind of depressing. I suggest Changelings.

Vengeance Moon:

Ven met back up with Alex and Jake a ways down the road. Alex shot him a quizzical look and shook his head in amazement. "How do you get over the wall so easily." Laughing, Ven leaped ten feet in the air to catch hold of a low hanging branch. He flipped over before letting go and landing back on his feet. "Simple, tigers are the jumpers of the cat world. To be blunt, the wall isn't tall enough to keep me out."

As Jake opened his mouth to interrupt Ven's cell went off. He opened it to find a cryptic text. Made it 2 Haven. Safe. B. Ven grinned. "Come on. I know where to go to get info on Jaimie. And while we're at it, I can kill two birds with one stone.

Amy Farrow:

After they fled the fire at George and Riley's house Amy took over guiding their group. Much to George's loud protests. Amy led them into the slums, expertly navigating the hot spots and the danger zones. Halfway home a massive figure stepped out of an alley. Over seven feet tall, and hugely muscular the man was a terrifying sight. Three claw marks streaked across his left cheek.

"Ben!" Amy grinned and threw herself into the bear hybrids arms. "I knew you'd find us if I took us home."

Chuckling Ben easily lifted Amy up until the giggling teen was perched on his shoulders. "Of course. I'm in charge of the safe houses after all." Ben glanced at the other humans who were gazing at him in equal parts awe and fear. "So these are the human friends you're always talking about. Do you think they're safe to have at the Last Chance."

"They'll be fine." Amy assured him. "Besides they can help me supervise Bone Night."

Ben's bushy eyebrows rose in surprise. "You're not cancelling?" He rumbled. "What about all the fighting."

"That just makes it more important." Amy declared mutinously, before jumping down from Ben's shoulders and leading the group deeper into the slums. With a sigh Ben trailed behind them like a small moving mountain.

The Last Chance bar and grill sat in the center of the slums. At least four separated houses had been combined over the years into one sprawling structure. Amy marched up the front door and jimmied the dozen locks. Opening the door she led them into entrance, Ben followed behind them ducking to get through the front door.

Andrew eyed him nervously before squeaking out. "He's staying."

"Duh." Amy told them as she worked on the pantry locks. "Ben's one of the best Enforcers in the revolution. He's supposed to guard the fall back positions. Got it." As Amy finished speaking she shoved open the doors to the pantry, really another room entirely. Stocked on the shelves were dozens of bags and boxes, chips, pop, candy, chocolate. Every single item on the shelves was junk food of one form or another.

"Where did all this come from? Ryley choked out. "We can't get half this stuff in the City.

Amy smirked as she tied an apron around her waist. "Well now you know where it all went. Ven smuggled it out years ago. Once every two weeks the Last Chance holds a kids only night. All the food is free, plus..." She pulled up a garage door that was attached to the wall, revealing the big screen TV and the stacks of movies and video games. "He said the children in the slums deserve a childhood. Even if it's just for a few nights a year. Now help me get ready, the others will be showing up soon. She tossed aprons at Drew and Ryley. "You two help me in the kitchen."

"What about me?" George asked, slightly dazed from the force of Amy's personality.

Grinning Amy dashed forward and perched a huge sombrero on his head. "You're the entertainment.

George laughed, then his eyes widened in horror. "Ryley, don't you dare!" He shouted.

Laughing Ryley put his phone away. "Too late, I already sent the picture to dad.

As George went for his brother someone knocked at the door. Ben opened it to admit four rattily dressed teens, one with the ears of a lynx, another the ears of a rabbit and the other two concealed their animal traits. They stopped in their tracks, staring at the humans for a moment before coming in. They were with Amy after all.

Within the hour the bar was packed to the rafters with kids coming for Bone Night or just to hide out from the chaos. Music blared from one corner, a group of boys had taken over the TV and were watching an action film, somehow talking George into sitting with them. Then the music and the TV cut out at the same time and the droning voice of the new anchor came on.

"We interrupt your regularly scheduled entertainment to bring you a message from your beloved City Governor. Governor Morley, the floor is yours.

Vengeance Moon:

Ven eyed the view screen from over Molly's shoulders. One of his lieutenants, Molly's single animal trait was so small no one had ever noticed it she had been raised human. The only sign that she was a mutant were the retractable fangs and the venom sacs hidden in the roof of her mouth. When Morley came on screen Ven had to supress a snarl at the lying bastards distinguished features.

Sighing he patted Molly's arm. "Give him five minutes or so to build up some steam then cut me into the broadcast. When he starts yelling, nix the sound, but leave his picture on screen. I want the humans to see their beloved leader's true face."

He turned to Alex and Jake who leaned against the wall. Alex had complained loudly when Ven brought them here with no explanation. Jake had merely rolled his eyes, he was used to Ven's eccentricities and knew he would keep his promise. "When I go on screen there is going to be a storm of activity among the humans. When Jaimie comes up whoever's holding him will call someone I guarantee it. You two need to monitor the calls, he pointed to the computers next to Molly.

"Ven I'm almost ready." Molly called.

Grinning, Ven shucked out of his long sleeved shirt exposing the intricate network of black stripes that marked his upper body. He took pride in who and what he was and it was time for the world to know it.

He marched out into the adjoining room and stood with his back to a pair of symbols. One was a star within a triangle, representing freedom and unity. The other was a paw print with a trio of claw marks over it, to the revolution it symbolized the destruction of what the humans made them out to be.

He focused on the television screen as Molly gave him a thumbs up through the window. Signalling she had successfully patched into the network, and the speech was now playing on every bandwidth within the state limits. Morley was speaking with passion slamming his fist on the podium. "It was a mistake to allow them even the small measure of freedom. These mutants have taken advantage of our generosity. They must be kept caged, contained, and if not than they must be destroyed..."

"Destroyed, my dear Governor. I don't think that's possible any more." Ven let out a silken purr, his smile was a dark flash of fangs as the screen split in two so that both he and the human were on display.

"You!?" Before Morley could say anything else the sound caught. You could see his lips moving as he turned a lovely mottled shade or first red then purple. But not a sound came from the studio he was broadcasting from.

Ven shot a side long glance at Molly. She had her "I'm an evil genius" grin on her face. Thoughtfully, Ven tilted his head. "You know I've never been able to decide whether humans are just willfully blind, or if you honestly can't see what I see. The virus which changed the face of our world has been around for almost fifty years. In that time almost no progress has been made in finding a vaccine or a cure. This a fact, one you can't dispute just because I am the one saying it."

"And do you know what these facts tell me Governor Morley? They tell me that maybe not today, and maybe not tomorrow, but someday. There won't be any "pure" humans left. The march of time is on our side." Ven spread his arms, highlighting his body. "Unlike you we so called animals are immune to the virus, because it's already had it's way with us."

"Even if I had never lifted a finger, someday we would have been free. In centuries, or maybe just decades. But it sure as hell won't happen in my life time. I didn't want this war, I never wanted it. Ideally I would prefer for humans and Changelings to live in harmony. But I am a realist above all, and I know that that isn't going to happen any time soon. There's just too much hate and fear built up on either side of that wall.

"And just because we can wait, doesn't mean we should. We deserve the same rights and considerations as anyone else." Ven glanced down and when he raised his head his face was stark with longing, sorrow and a helpless kind of rage. "The other day. A nine year old boy fell out of a tree he was climbing. He broke his arm, a bad break. The kind where the bone punctures through the skin and his hand was shattered. We did what we could but infection set in because no one in the slums has either the training or the equipment to treat his injury. We had to amputate it. Oh and did I mention the fact that we had no sedatives so he was awake when we did the amputation." The last words came out on a snarl. "All of that pain could have been avoided, if not for the fact he was born with a tail."

Ven's hands clenched into fists, so tight his claws punctured his hands and blood dripped onto the floor. "Now another little boy is caught in the crossfire. Taken from his bed in the middle of the night, and thrown in a cage. Jaimie is only six years old. He's just a scared little boy. A little boy who deserves who deserves to go home to his family."

"That boy is an abomination the same as you!" Morley shouted, apparently someone had fixed the audio. "I'll get you if it's the last thing I ever do. You killed my son." Morley spat venomously.

Ven put on a bored look. "And my little dog too?" He asked sarcastically. "Your precious baby boy was a pedophile who raped my fourteen year old sister. Your damn right I killed him. And I've never lost a wink of sleep over it."

From behind the glass Jake signalled that they had the location. Alex was watching him with a wide eyed look. Ven nodded before firing his parting shot. "Speaking of family your daughter gave me a present when she helped me escape five years ago." He held up a compact MB stick. "This thing is pretty old but it still has it's information. Proof that Morley Inc. your family's company was responsible for engineering the virus. The evidence is being uploaded to the internet for anyone to view as we speak."

Morley turned dead white as Molly cut the power at both stations. Ven burst back into the broadcast booth. "You found Jaimie?"

Jake nodded because Alex and Molly still looked dumbstruck. Aside from Ven the old man had been the only one to know of Morley's culpability. "He's at Exotique Warehouse 4, it's on the west end of the city."

Ven grinned. "Then let's ride."

James froze and turned his head slowly toward the noise.
The mutant woman was frozen also, but a small smirk crept across her lips.
She thinks I haven’t spotted her. James thought to himself.
“I know you are there.” James stated clearly, bracing his step into a posture that showed defiance.
“Show yourself.”
The woman slunk out of the hedge she had so carelessly fallen into. She cat-walked across the concrete until she stood about eight meters away from him, eye to eye.
“What are you going to do?” she teased, as if she doubted that James was any threat whatsoever.
“Nothing.” James said. His emotions indistinguishable.
“Is that not a question I should be asking my pursuer rather than the contrary. The cat woman said nothing but crinkled her nose. He now verbally had the upper hand.
James pointed at the wall to the symbol he had just observed.
“What does that mean? Is it mutant?”
The cat looked at him blankly. “I’ve never seen any blue crosses in my life.”
“The Red triangle.” James replied, he wasn’t doubtful of the mutants ignorance. She didn’t say anything but nodded, this was enough. James turned to leave but she called out.
“Are you going over the wall?”
James was confused. Why would he want to go over there? He had seen on television it was a terrible place, yet he had never seen it in real, never felt it.
There was a steel rung ladder clinging up to the top a little further on. James jogged over to it nervously, half expecting the woman to pounce on him. By the time James got to the top of the wall the woman was already there. Impossible speed. She now stood beside him while he shaded his eyes against the sun that drummed over the slums.
What James saw was despicable. Dirt. Sewage. Buildings that were no more than crumbs. The stench of blood sweat and urine was overwhelming even from so high up. People lived in this. His stomach sunk low, so low he felt dizzy. People accepted that they lived in this. No one cleaned it, people just lived in this uncivilized mess. The reality of what he saw, felt and smelt could never be justified by an image on a TV screen, nor described by the shriveled mess of what was left of the useless governor.
The woman suddenly grabbed his wrist.
“Are you coming?” she said, boring into him with her piercing eyes.
James heart jumped in fight and he pulled away furiously before he could even shout no. The woman seemed to balance herself on the edge then gently tumbled down onto the other side of the slums while James held his breath and stumbled backwards away from the edge.
“James Carrington! Spotted on the wall of the slums!” Shrieked a distant voice with a trill of delight. James whipped his head around back to the city. A lone woman holding a large media camera was at the base of the wall, lenses angled up at him. He recognized her. A notorious news reporter, eager to make a story out of anything. He was not surprised that she knew his name and face either. His mother was quite formally famed, working with the news and media and politicians. She herself had been getting quite a lot of coverage these days.
“What the…” James started but held his tongue, “What are you doing here?”
The woman didn’t reply but continued to narrate her story.
“Spotted in the company of a mutant, James Carrington was seen here pushing the mutant off the wall back into the slums where it belongs!”
James shook his head to himself, confused.
“What do you say James? Are you a hero of the people? Or are you working with the mutants with their uprising.”
James only shook his head harder and stared at her solidly.
“What I have seen here had changed me forever.” He said angrily. The woman beamed, glad for the spoken words. James regretted it instantly. Tension was tight, mutants were hijacking the televisions and now he was seen here. Little did he know that, along with the TV hijacking, his face would be all over the news the coming weeks.

Spoiler
Slyver please don't do too much more using your governor "prime-minister guy" because I already confirmed that I will be using my characters as anti-revolutionaries.(have something planned)

It was all a huge misunderstanding. After Nadia went and attacked Swiftfur, Drew was put on edge. Unsure where to point his gun, he kept moving back and forth, but before Sara had a chance to calm him down Nadia began to make a scene in Lilly's arms, screaming at Drew to shoot her. Eyes wide, he finally decided to lower his gun just as the two changling's disappeared into the woods.

Now talking with Lilly, Sara and Drew were quite anxious to learn more about this revolution they had heard so many whispers of, only to be shocked when they learned Swiftfur was an anti-revolutionist.
"But why?" Drew whispered to Sara, narrowing his eyes at Switfur. "The citizen's treat you all so poorly... What motive could she have to want to prevent this revolution?"
Just then Swiftfur pulled a cat out of her satchel. Taken aback by it's sudden appearance, Sara hopped a few steps back and lowered herself closer to the floor, growling. Drew just laughed long and hard at his sister's reaction. Suddenly embarrassed by herself, Sara quickly straitened back up, wiping her hands on her pants and scowling as she walked back next to her brother.
"What's with all these cats today anyway?"
Drew laughed again. "Don't mind her... She lets a lot of her actions and opinions be run by her mutation... So! Now that the cat's been let out of the bag..." he chuckled at his own joke, "May I ask more directly- Why are you so against this Revolution?"

Kari:

The tiger led her to a sprawling building. It didn’t seem very different, but then she supposed that not much could look out of place in the slums. There were a dozen open locks on the door and music poured out from the slight gap. She made sure that her hair was covering her face before looking through the gap. Human and changeling children, most of them only a few years younger than her, were watching a movie on a television, bags of food scattered on the tables in front of them. Suddenly, the music and the TV stopped and the news anchor came on, inviting the Governor to spout his drivel to the world. Kari watched from the door, trying to listen over the disgusted exclamations of the children.

“They must be kept caged, contained, and if not than they must be destroyed..." the image split in two and an image of a shirtless Vengeance occupied the other half of the screen.

"Destroyed, my dear Governor. I don't think that's possible any more." The exclamations of the kids stopped, replaced with stunned silence.

“You!” the Governor exclaimed. Kari had to admit that Vengeance’s flair for the dramatic helped in the confusion. The Governor’s face was changing to impossible colours. What was Vengeance’s relation to this man?

"You know I've never been able to decide whether humans are just wilfully blind, or if you honestly can't see what I see. The virus which changed the face of our world has been around for almost fifty years. In that time almost no progress has been made in finding a vaccine or a cure. Now another little boy is caught in the crossfire. Taken from his bed in the middle of the night, and thrown in a cage. Jaimie is only six years old. He's just a scared little boy. A little boy who deserves who deserves to go home to his family."
It was a long speech that Vengeance was making, but Kari could hear the passion an d conviction behind it, along with the hatred.

"That boy is an abomination the same as you!" the governor shouted. "I'll get you if it's the last thing I ever do. You killed my son." The governor spat venomously. Well that explained the colour of his face, but not Vengeance’s hatred of the man.

Vengeance looked bored at the governor’s words. "And my little dog too?" He asked sarcastically. "Your precious baby boy was a paedophile who raped my fourteen year old sister. Your damn right I killed him. And I've never lost a wink of sleep over it." Kari’s hands clenched into fists. The governor was such a hypocrite. [i]He should be the one destroyed,[i] she thought vehemently.
On the screen, Vengeance’s eyes darted and he nodded before turning back to the screen.

Kari’s eyes widened. The TV switched off, then turned back on to the movie. The children in the room were silent for a second then they burst out cheering. Next to her, the tiger who hadn’t moved all the while nudged her in the back with its head, encouraging her to go into the room. She pushed at it with her hand then frowned. A bear changeling towered before her, his eyes riveted on her.

“What are you doing here?” He growled. “This is a safe place. We don’t want dangerous people here.”

“I’m not dangerous. Vengeance sent me. I’m hurt.” She gestured to her wing and arm, wincing at the movement. The changeling’s eyes darted to them and back to her face. “Look, I didn’t want to come here. The tiger wouldn’t let me leave, Vengeance probably told it not to let me. If you want I can go. I know how to treat myself.” Next to her the tiger growled. Apparently it understood what she was saying.

“No. It’s fine. Come in.” He opened the door onto the party. The closest changelings turned around and looked at her suspiciously. The bear changeling called out. “Amy! Someone needs treating!” A girl came out from the crowd. A human. Kari took a few steps back.

“I’m not letting a human touch me.” She hissed. The girl - Amy looked hurt.

“But you’re hurt.” She protested.

“I don’t care. I’d rather die without being able to fly again then let a human touch me.” The tiger growled at her and padded over to the girl. This must be the granddaughter the old man was talking about. The tiger growled at her again and she got the strange feeling that it was telling her to stop being so stubborn. “You. Is it your brother who’s been kidnapped?”

The girl hesitated before replying. “Yes.”

Kari looked at her for a second. “You’re not a mutant.”

“No.”

Kari thought it over and sighed. “Fine. I have a bullet hole in my wing and a broken arm. Are you able to sort it?”

The girl smiled. “Normally, yes.” She ran off, leaving with Kari with the mutants and humans staring at her. This was why she didn’t like joining groups. One of the humans stepped forwards.

“How did you get shot?” She glared at him.

“I was flying too close to the wall.” She replied shortly.

“Why?” Kari ground her teeth. So many questions. Why couldn’t they just go back to watching their film.

“Because I wanted to.” It wasn’t exactly true, but that was all he was getting from her. The boy opened his mouth to reply, but the girl came back in with a first aid bag. Kari couldn’t help but widen her eyes at what she saw in it. She wasn’t sure that they had much of this stuff even across the Wall.

“George, leave her be,” the girl said, as shooed everyone away from Kari and instructed her to sit down, sitting down next to her. Kari tried not to flinch when the girl touched her wing to examine it, but she couldn’t help it. She hadn’t been touched purposely by a person for almost three years. The girl, noticing her discomfort started talking.

“I’m Amy. What’s your name?” Kari closed her eyes. How long had it been since anyone had called her by her name. She barely remembered it herself. When she had been a child, it had been the only thing keeping her from attacking her parents. The fact that they had given her a name, that they had cared at some point.

“Kari.” She replied quietly. “My name’s Kari.”

Seth

As the sun was half way down , Seth was gazing at the vista he had from his office’s large window up a little less than a thousand kilometer in the skies. This view from the top of the high tower was something beautiful, that he held very dear as he admired the beauty and architecture of the landscape. It’s great ancient mounds of earth, covered in grass once but something had infected these mounds over time and there was not a single speck of green there to be seen aside from a few gigantic advertising boards. Human and mutant populations now were all populating this landscape; creating a massive system of slums wretched with overpopulation and extreme poverty, centralized around what was known as the safe side, the most luxurious side of life in this area, the great city. This city filled with skyscrapers was surrounded by a great wall that marked the clear limit of the rich wealthy population, and the rest of them, the pets, and then the mutants. Now and again something in these slums blew up in a puff of smoke every couple of hours, an enjoyable spectacle, and truly the only joy to be had while looking at this as they were nothing but a hub for chaos, anarchy, poverty and overpopulation; the perfect recipient for a time bomb that would kill itself and many around it.

As time ticked away, he hear a knock at his door and turned around to see who it was.
“Come in” his voice was rather warm to welcome the person and he looked at the secretary that came in with quite an expectant look.

“Sir… the helicopter is ready to be deployed.. we are only waiting for you “ she was holding a notepad and looked extremely proper, probably one of his best employees, but nevertheless he never took notice to remember her name. “ The Subjects died in testing today…. All three of them Sir. The Experiment was an overall failure.” She stopped as Seth’s ice blue eyes looked at her calmly but still pierced right through her in an intimidating manner.

“There is no such thing as a complete failure… go down and get the data. I want the full reports of the Experiments, Step by step, on my desk by the time I get back. “
he sipped his mug of hot chocolate slowly and put it on the glass desk that reflected some of the gray sky over the tower seen through the window.

The whole office was a pure white area, not a single stain could be found on the walls or the ground or even on the Glass surface, as nowadays, a lot of furniture and paint fixed itself up by itself. The small hologram projector for his computer on his desk was barely noticeable but he usually only used the glass surface of his desk to do research as it worked partly as a computer screen.

“If I’m not mistaken it was three second generation mutants…. Am I right? A monkey, a cat and…. Hmm.. a dog. A Shame, that cat was a nice one” the secretary nodded.

“I will take my leave” she walked away fast as she knew he tolerated no slacking on the job and headed down to the labs.

After this slightly annoying exchange he sighed and he knew he would have to head to the helipad area so he walked out of his office slowly and looked around, picking up a small satchel and heading towards ascending stairs as he was fidgeting with his watch. He quickly finished setting it up and proceeded onto calling a slave trader from the Exotique slave trading group with it

“Wait for me in Warehouse 4 please… yes… no I don’t care about your safety… I just want you to have the Slaves ready for me… “he stopped. “Don’t worry about the payment… I have it all on me as promised… yes. I’m taking all of them. No matter what the others may want to pay I’ll raise the price”

Seth hung up on him fast and headed upstairs to the indoor docking area where his four bodyguards were all ready in the helicopter and waiting for him to take off with Two hefty suitcases of money on board, ready so that they could pay the trader as soon as they would get there. “Lets go now” he sat down and buckled up to the seat next to the pilot and leaned back letting them do all the work.

As a kid would enjoy a plane taking off, he enjoyed the take off as much as ever and spent the rest of the time looking outside of the window at the ground below them for some oddities but he had done this journey so often he never found new things, only new fires. After half an hour or so of flight at full speed, the helicopter was hovering well over the slums and zooming towards the specified warehouse. They proceeded to maneuver that helicopter onto the flat roof of the warehouse and the engines soon stopped and the door unlocked and opened.

As the landed upon the rooftop he got out first and turned to his men, starting then to speak to them very coldly. “The first one to start spouting idiocies..dies…understood?” The four henchmen nodded and one of them was a new recruit and just stayed silent but thought he was in no way serious, but either way they all let their boss lead the way towards into the warehouse in which the slave trader would be soon for an important trade with him.

Seth was expecting everything to go according to his plan as it always did.

Swiftfur spat angrily and growled, "The Revolution will cause many unneeded deaths for humans. Vengeance is wise, but he is still young, and revenge clouds his mind."
Charm squirmed in her arms, and she set the cat on the ground.
She took two recording devices from her satchel and passed it to Sara and Drew.
"We need to find out where Vengeance will strike, and when."
An angry meow from Charm interrupted her. "Oh, come on! I don't get to help? You've never excluded me from your plans!"
Swiftur leaned down and patted her head.
"Don't worry, you have a part to play too you an I will try to track Vengeance, hack into computers to find info, that sort of thing."
She straightened up and looked at Sara and Drew.
"Try and search for any information on the Revolution, and on Vengeance. It would help to know about some of his childhood and teen years."
Turning around, she raced off in the direction of the city with Charm hard on her heels.
