Wedding dresses! Wedding dresses... uh... I am not good at describing these things!

It will be white! And very pretty.

I am going to try to fit in my mom's wedding dress that she made herself, but this may or may not be a possibility, given that we are slightly different sizes. If I work out a little, maybe I'll fit? I dunno. We'll see! In any case, her wedding dress is an a-line dress with a lace bodice with lace sleeves (and the lace is a kind of flowery pattern). Then, the skirt is white satin and it has a chapel length train.

If that doesn't work out... well... Mom and I will make a wedding dress! And, we've looked at patterns together, but haven't come with anything definitive.

In any case, we'll still need to make a veil.

Big white wedding with all the trims, or smaller informal ceremony?

We're going for a mixture of the two, actually! My budget can't take a big white wedding, however, we will be marrying in the church, which means that there are certain procedures that must be taken!

Catering, or potluck?

Catering, but buffet style, so we're not paying for every single plate. Potluck isn't very smart for us because his folks will be flying in from New England. They won't be able to bring anything!

Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall wedding? Have a date yet? What about color scheme, if any?

Summer, hopefully! We'll see. And no date yet. The color scheme is white, teal, brown, and gold. I may have possibly taken this from the invitations...

Indoor or outdoor?

Indoor! It'll probably be in summer, and thus hot. I will have pity on the New Englanders coming to California!

This is the kind of pattern that we are looking at.

We will probably add a lot more embellishments to make it sparkly and personalized. For example, were we to go with the lace sleeves, it would probably be rose lace sleeves, as my middle name (and saint's name!) is Rose.

But yeah! Either way, chapel-length train. Not a big big skirt, but not anything to sneeze at either.
